gotten this team shake the things that has been plaguing this team since 2000. Mental mistakes, which results in penalties, and inconsistent play.

This team has been playing the same type of football for 6yrs now, 5yrs before Owens got here, but now since Owens is here he gets blamed, but in reality his play and mistakes has fit right in. He may hold himself to a higher standard but it is easier to follow the majority than for the majority to follow a single person.

People are upset over Owens drops, they are not use to seeing him drop passes, before he got here, but everyone drops passes, no matter how big or important they may be, it happens.

In my opinion, his mental lapses, lack of focus and concentration just goes along with the whole team's lack of concentration, that is what Parcells was uspet about 2 days of practice last week, it is something that he has not been able to drive out since he has been here.

Parcells has done some good things, personnel wise, but he is the one constant in the team since his arrival in 03, I still say he is the reason this team has not gotten over the hump, and while I'm on that Coughlin will be the reason why the Giants will never get over the hump, well him and Eli, and the skins and Gibbs.

My point is, Owens is not the problem, By himself he may be contributing (his drops) but the team was inconsistent before his arrival, the whole team is the problem coaching staff and all.

I stopped reading after the Bold. There have been a zillion players not named "Owens" who have been singled out.

Vinny Testeverde
Quincy Carter
Mario Edwards
Drew Bledsoe
Roy Williams
Keith Davis
Pat Watkins
Terence Newamn (in 2004)
Flozell Adams
Marco Rivera
Ryan Young
Rob Petitti
Torrin Tucker
Andre Gurode
Terrell Owens
Bill Parcells
Tony Sporano
Sean Payton (last year)
Jerry Jones

As Lawrence Fishburne famously said...etc etc etc

So if you are going to start a pity thread for Owens, you need to take the above names and others I have probably failed to mention into account as well.

I blame Bill Parcells for not buying the player a tub of stickum before the season.
