Monday night will be for Drew to Check off as needed during the game to offset
the Blitzing of the Deadskins.

The Deadskins only chance to win is to force turnovers. This will be the best offense for them.

Drew has to use quick snaps, long snaps, raise his voice. Well you get the picture.

The OL will be tested as well. It should be interesting.

Great match up, but Parcells will have the right game plan to beat the blitz.

We'll see a lot of max protection schemes which means our WRs will have to beat one on one matchups against the corners and beat the coverage QUICKLY. For that reason I would look for Glenn and Crayton to be the main targets with Witten probably getting snuck deep on an occassion or two to back the safeties off. I know Key had a damn good game but he may be too slow to quickly seperate from his corner on a week were the blitzing will come fast and furious.

You're probably right. There will probably be a lot of quick dump offs to Witten, JJ and the slot WR.

Man I love talking strategy.

I do think max protection is going to be a normal, and they may even audible into max protection.

This is where Price and Crayton will come in. Our slow players will have a HUGE game if this is what the deadskins want to do.

Put this team at a disadvantage by going 3 WR formations. We have to play to our strengths, and our strength right now is our RB and our QB's accuracy, and our WR's.

I agree with your assessment 100%, and I love the way our WRs matchup with their cornerbacks. Once we get a lead on this team, it's over. Last week Brunell had 70 yards passing. That sounds about right.

you guys obviously don't know Billspeak--since he said he wasn't sure that Price would play, expect and early bomb, probably from a four wideout formation with no huddle, seriously that no huddle hurt SD there down in the red zone don't be surprised to see that some more til somebody stops it...

I would rotate the WR so they are fresh and speedy. This is where Price may come in handy. Glen and Key...then Crayton and Price....the CB's are going to be winded.....then bombs away!

i still say we can run on them even when they stack it up. maybe not rip off 8 yard gains, but 3 yards and a cloud of dust... force them first to respect JJs running behind a big smashmouth OL, and when they show they respect it then try to get deep. i also think JJ will see at least 4 screen plays, a couple WR screens, a pitchout on a reverse, and yes hard to imagine but i predict Bledsoe will have a couple rollouts to move the pocket. keep them offbalance...

It's kind of funny how over at ES some of the people mentioned how we have 3 pro bowlers on the line, then went on to say our weakness was the middle of the line. Yes Rivera Johnson and Allen are what I'm worried about on the line.

Max protects will be used. I also think that we will use draws and screens. Jones is excellent running the draw, and it's designed to kill the blitz. I want to see him catching some passes, see if he's improved that. We need to get Jones the ball in space.

Defensively, with Johnson banged up, I think we can take advantage of that and get a good amount of pressure on them. I like Henry shutting down there smaller receivers with physical play, however, there deep speed has to be a bit of a concern to us. We just can't give em time to get it deep. Stopping Portis will be big as well, since he is their only consistant offensive threat. Overall, we match up well with them I think.

We score early, we walk away with this one.
