Or maybe just a future #1.

Pac - I think he feels he can get him cheap and contruct a safe contract
Mac - I see him doing a deal with Al Davis
Boldin - where there is a will there is a way
I hate to burst you bubble.PosterChild;2006627 said:1- The Pac Man Cometh

This is assuming Al Davis wants to trade down.Everything I've heard says he loves DMac and is going to pick him at #4. Some people forget that even if Jerry wants to make a trade up he still has to find a trading partner.
Of course in his scenario we get Boldin, which will probably cost an additional #1, and of course thats assuming Arizona really wants to trade him. There are no indications that they do. He wants a new contract because of the Fitzgerald deal, and Arizona will be hard pressed to pay them both, but that doesn't mean they want to unload him now.
So to recap in order to get PacMan, Boldin and DMac its going to cost both #1's this year, our #2 this year, two late round picks this year, and our #1 next year. On top of that we would have to come to terms with Boldin on a new deal probably worth near 10M a year, and pay DMac #4 overall money somewhere north of the 6 yr/46M dollar contract signed by the 2007 #4 pick Gaines Adams. PacMan would at least be cheap financially. Sure it could happen

I don't know if you could trade for Boldin with a 2nd but I think you could probably work out a trade for Williams for a 2nd. Jones will come much cheaper IMO. I think a 5th could get a guy who may or may not be playing this year. Now is the time to trade for him at best value, if that's what you want to do. I don't want the guy but if that is the decisison, then now is the time. If you wait till he's declared, price will go up if the decision is in his favor. If not, price will fall off the table and Tennessee gets nothing for him. I don't think we are going after DMac but that doesn't mean we might not be interested in that pick. There are several players there that could help us a lot. I honestly don't know if Oakland has money to be able to sign the 4th player or not. They may or they may not. They've spent a lot of money this year already. It may be in there best interests to trade down and save money. They might even be much more interested in trading down and trading for future draft picks. You never know.
