If theis team has any fight in them they will take care of business to ensure a rematch. I want one bad, I feel like I could play after that infuriating letdown.
Dallas doesn't respond to taunting, name calling, treatenings or bad manners by the opposing teams. It appears that every time some team or player calls
out either the Cowboys team or a player it intimidates the Cowboys. This is very disconcerting. They need to breathe fire in a rematch or whenever they meet the team that brags about rubbing their noses in it.
I realize you can get caught up in the emotions and fail to execute but Dallas needs to learn to take the opposition by the throat when they deride the Boys. I have no problem with the on side kick nor the kneel downs. Both were humiliating gestures of superiority, but the Boys should never have put themselves in that kind of position.
I never saw any more effort nor emotion out of the Cowboys after the on side kick. It should have enraged them to the point where they could reach down and tap into their reserves and made a game of it from then on out but after all of that they could not stop the run and allowed the Saints to roll over them without ever having to throw a pass. This places a big ? mark in my mind as to how much character this team has.
I'm glad there is so much enthusiasm and confidence about the game against the Falcons. I don't share in it but I am hopeful. When the money is on the line I havn't seen the Boys rise up and smite the enemy. The Saints showed the league how a team needs to dominate in a game. If Dallas has any character they will not live with the taste of this bitter defeat but will do whatever it takes to get back to winning.
