Two games back. That's all.

Two games back in the loss column. If we lay an egg against Miami while NY is on their bye week than we'll be 3 games back with 6 to play. Not saying we can't win the division but it's looking slim.

I'll take "slim" over mathematically impossible. Two seasons ago I was the most pessimistic and unbearable fan to be around, but for some weird reason I believe, and I can't explain it.

If any player can win out, single handedly, it's Romo. If our defense can become opportunistic and play like they did today with Romo, they have a REAL chance.

Garrett and his lack of coaching talent is glaring.

Romo, as smart as he is, gets himself hurt with rather rare injuries because he can't take a sack properly.
Romo still holds on to ball too long.

Dez is overrated. Can't even make catches.
Should have gave him tag.

Murray should have been signed to keep the band together.

Jerry will never win another Super Bowl.
I know we are all upset about what we are seeing.

But the truth is..

other than the Pats game..

we have lead in the 4rh qt. of every game..

but simply..

without a QB..

we can't score enough points.

It's not rocket science.

It's not the defense..

It's not the coaches..

its not the OL its not the running game.

It's the QB.

Fix that and we fix all the problems and go back to being competitive.

Its too late to save the season..

but not to late to fix it.

I don't think you understand the phrase "blessing in disguise."

Don't drink.
Yeah, pretty rare.

He needs to tuck ball and roll the defender. He just doesn't get it.

Maybe you should. The lunacy of this thread would make more sense.

No, broken collarbones are not rare in the least. In fact, as far as broken bones go, in the NFL it's probably one of the most frequent breaks (outside of fingers on linemen).

This is about as deep in denial as you can get. If losing one player sinks your entire team for seven games, regardless of how close the games were, you have coaching issues. This team should have at least stumbled into one victory the past seven games. All this "the games were close" nonsense is exactly that. Close means you didn't make the plays in crunch time. Guess what, outside of last season this is a historic quality of Garret coached teams since he has been here with or without Romo. How many seasons did we just need to win the final game to get into the playoffs and lose? Garrett might have a bright future and Marinelli may have a bright past, but neither is the answer for the Cowboys right now.

I understand what you are saying.

And after following this team for 50 years..

I've not seen anything like this since the season when Landry was replaced.

But no way is the team in that abyiss.

Garrett certainly has some issues to figure out.

Cannot compare this team to 1989. Jimmy's first year was a complete rip down and rebuild project. This team has players beside the QB. And they can't win 1-2 out of 7. It's a Disgrace.

I agree it's not some bottomless hole. I just don't think Garrett had the chops to take this team to the next level. I think we'll always be good, just never great, under Garrett.
