For whatever reason it took this offense two months to figure out how to use Cooks. He's got seven touchdowns since the bye week or right around there I believe.
It was a strange beginning of a season. Our defense was destroying other teams, and the offense simply played conservative. Then, on top of that, it was a new offense being throttled back.

I can't say, but I imagine that had something to do with him and Dak getting in synch. They are still not there on deep balls. It is coming together though. Cooks is a good little wr, totally under rated for his career.

If Dak could be more accurate on the bombs, he's been open a few times for 6. Need to hit those.
Agreed. One early in the year, Dak should have put more air under the ball and just let Cooks run under it.
The last two I’ve seen, Cooks was behind the CB, but the safety was closing fast from depth on the side. On those I think Dak threw it hard on a line because the ball needed to be there before the safety. When you can’t arc it up high, it’s really hard to be accurate with the ball being over the safety but on a low enough line to get there fast. I think that was the case vs Detroit and Miami. More teams are playing a two safety shell against us due to Lamb and Cooks.

It's funny that the reason he keeps getting traded is because he is so good; but not quite worth a big money deal since he's not a true number one receiver from a physical standpoint.

I am glad the Cowboys were able to get him a new deal after the trade and will have him next year too.

Brandin Cooks in 13 games with the Texans in 2022 in a season when he supposedly quit on the team - 57-699-3

Brandin Cooks in 15 games with the Cowboys this year - 48-618-7

Just the facts, ma'am.

I didn't realize we have him 2 years. That's awesome.

They need to add another WR in the draft. It’s nice that Cooks is signed through 2024. Move on from Gallup. Draft a WR in round 2/3.
