When it comes to the corner of the endzone him and Dak have some strangely good chemistry. Always seems like Dak has pinpoint accuracy on those and Cooks always makes the tough catch.
Which is weird…..our smallest guy is our best threat in the redzone.

Interesting. If Dak targets Cooks for at least five receptions we win that game.
..our secret sauce.

If Dak could be more accurate on the bombs, he's been open a few times for 6. Need to hit those.

Ditto here

He's just over shooting/over shooting Cooks. Not yet adjusted to Cooks over top deep speed.
And unfortunately I think Dak maybe the type that has to work on his twinks and timing with his WRs over due time.

Maybe a case where Cooks & Dak work in the offseason to get their timing down than it being fixed during the season.
But it can and will be done.

For whatever reason it took this offense two months to figure out how to use Cooks. He's got seven touchdowns since the bye week or right around there I believe.
Yes sir its 7, and thats a great number for our WR2.
Love having the double threat on the edge with Lamb and Cooks, that is what drives this entire offense.

While there's talk about "targeting Cooks" .. yes while that's better than nothing at all.
the prime season we traded for Cooks was becuz of his speed.
He's long been reputed as one of the better speed WRs in the NFL.

- We should be using him as a speed WR,. .not a possession WR.
Aside from the Giants 2nd game, i had that notion that it was more possession type related than plays
that emphasized his speed.

- Fly- go routes, (even from the slot) bubble screens, jet- sweeps, etc.

- And the big difference between Cooks vs Turpin is Brandin can fight thru line press line jams and physical
If defenders get their hands on tiny Turpin in routes, that's it. he has to be untouched to be at his most effective, imo.

- Seems like we only started the idea of deep shooting him the last 2 or 3 games.
But I am so glad Mac & Dak are " at least " now trying to give Brandin the fair chance to do so. (over top deep)

Dak tends to over throw the long ball to Cooks. An under throw would be better in most situations. The DB is so far behind, in most cases, he is in chase mood, not looking back for the ball. An under throw would either allow for the catch or PI.

They definitely need to get Cooks involved more often. I get Lamb is incredible, and when he gets hot you want to feed him the ball, but there is not reason Cooks can't get hot too.

Dak and him definitely should start working on those long bombs in Dak's backyard. lol

Brandon Cooks is a 1,000 yard WR everywhere else except here. Dak "the WR Killah" is trying his damnedest to live up to his name.

This is the best group of receivers and TE we've had in a long time. They are uncoverable beyond 3 seconds and somebody's always open. We've got at least 3 guys who can beat single coverage and a TE who routinely beats safeties let alone LBs.

It reminds me of Shaq shooting foul shots great player struggling with his weakness.

Those bombs we throw two or three times a game just seem like wasted plays and drive stoppers to me especially when we need to kill the clock and it does nothing but stop it on us

SFO is the airport code (like LAX for Los Angeles) so I guess the person pulling the list together either got confused or thought it was a good idea!
It has nothing to do with airport codes. It's because they want them to be three letters but unique so back when there was a team in San Diego they obviously could not have two "SANs" so they made one of them SFO. Same with New Orleans, New York and New England. Obviously you couldn't abbreviate all four of those to "NEW" either. Most of the rest are conventional abbreviations.
