Must watch. Nick Eatman, Bryan Broaddus, Ambar Garcia and Derek Eagleton all make good points talking about the Cowboys loss at the Eagles.

Discuss ... What do you think?

Can we beat the Eagles next time? Who knows? Which Dak is coming back? Can Quinn fix the run defense? Do Jerry and son sit on their hands or make a move to improve the team?

Let's not get carried away, Broaddus was making his bones in the NFL while Lesha was still in diapers lol:muttley:
I got to give Broaddus some credit for yesterday’s show. He actually made some good points about the Eagles offense vs our defense. We have to play smarter to beat them.

I think Broaddus had a point that despite how bad the offense was, the momentum had swung to the Cowboys side, we closed the gap and the defense disappeared on a crucial drive that consisted of mainly runs.

Don't get me wrong, I love the way the defense has played this season. They have carried the team in general, but they can improve, especially against the run.

Really? We out smarted the Bengals, Giants, and the great McVay. I trust Quinn the defense will be fine.

I would chalk those up to just being better than them at the time we played. The penalties have been an issue for a while now ..... though we are assured they are a focus of this staff.

Can’t argue with that. I just think our coaches are underrated.

Man, I struggle with the coaches. Particularly MM & KM.

I think MM deserves a lot of credit for getting the pieces together, being a steady influence and seemingly having a team that will battle regardless of situation. His "feel" for the in game situations ..... bafflingly bad.

KM - Definitely has some tendencies that are questionable. Sometimes I watch plays and think man that was nicely done from a scheme standpoint (whether it was successful or not). Other times, I'm completely confused why he thought that would work in the situation. Not always because it was a bad play but because it hinged on a player or two who were struggling. I really wish he would better incorporate screens into our arsenal. Invite the rushers upfield and burn them early in games to tamp down their enthusiasm. Same with the delayed draw. I know a lot of folks got sick of that play but I see opportunities where that would be a fantastic addition to our attack. Both of these are fairly simple plays and with practice can be ran very effectively without All Pro caliber players.
