The Broncos are reportedly upset that news of T.O.'s visit got out.
Agent Drew Rosenhaus was probably using the news to invite other teams into the bidding. The Broncos are $30 million over the cap, which could also complicate matters.

NFL Network's Adam Shefter reports that the Broncos are unlikely to give the Eagles any trade compensation for Terrell Owens. This report directly contrasts with a report from the Denver Post this morning. Since Shefter is better connected with the Broncos than either Post reporter, we trust his take more.

In his defense, he is one of the top agents in the league. THough his tactics are not well liked, he does a good job for his players.

I just recall how well he "sold" McGahee...after an injury like that, the fact the kid got picked in the 1st round regardless of talent and progress in re-hab, thats pretty impressive

This team is missing a dynamic, big time, playmaking WR.

There is not otherwise one available of the caliber of Owens this offseason.

If we get him, we could win the Super Bowl.

I care about winning more than some misguided notion of legacy.

Is it a guarantee? Of course not.

But its a gamble I would be willing to take. The only caveat would be if Parcells thinks he can't work with him.

Otherwise, there is no reason at all not to chase him.
