I don't think Williams is a huge problem when looking at just him for what he is. A middle of the road number 2. If we had another legitimate outside WR on the roster with Dez out we would be ok. With Romo out and Dez out and no other outside WR to speak of he won't be very productive. He will draw the best CB. Draw plenty of safety help and with Weeden playing the CB can sit inside leverage and play off with very little threat of being beat deep or outside the hash marks.

Let's see where he is in about three weeks before we throw him off the cruise ship. That said he is 100 percent a body catcher and he never attacks the ball the way a top flight receiver does.

And that won't change, but he also does some good things too.
So... you're right.

I would definitely consider drafting a wideout in the first couple of rounds next year. At some point, Williams needed to take the next step and he doesn't appear to be any better this year.

I am certain the FO is keeping close tabs on the Josh Gordon situation. I expect the Browns to release him at some point.

He had the bad drop that ended the game, yes.

But if you're assuming he didn't play well simply because Brandon Weeden didn't get him the ball... well, I'd say the coaches' tape might tell a different tale.

Not that I've seen the coaches' tape, because I haven't. For all I know he couldn't get any separation all game.

Well, Terrance can't catch the ball if it isn't thrown to him, and about 100% of everyone thinks we need to throw the ball down the field to keep the Aints from putting their whole D in the box, so let's air it out to him on Sunday night and give him a few opportunities to catch TD #15. He had eight last year, and so far this year he only has one.

How many #2 WR in this league would be productive #1s? How many could do it with the #2 QB throwing? Maybe 1 or fewer.

People gotta understand context.

How many would? And forget that number 2 QB crap

M. Byrant

Marvin Jones

Cruz

Moncrief

Hopkins(when dre was hurt, then proved to be a number 1)

Cobb

Sanders

Tate(Did it last year)

Evans(When vincent was hurt, proved to be a legit numer 1)

Austin when we had him.

LR when dez was hurt, and limping on the feild

I could keep going and going. The truth is, T-Will is a bum, and can't even produce 5 catches for 50 yards(Which still sucks by the way) playing number 1. BUM

Terrance did just fine as the #1 in Philadelphia. Had the game clinching touchdown. It certainly was a poor performance. He has to bounce back, but I'm not giving up on the guy after one bad game.

Was wondering when you were going to start this thread

Frozen700 and TWill is the equivalent of xwalker and Doug Free

Had to give it some time my boy.

I knew he would do this, and start playing like this.

Funny thing is, when i said "What if Dez goes down, can he step up?"

Everyone or most people said "Yes" and that i was crazy for even asking.

They maybe thought the day would come that Dez would go down.

He went down and T-Will is even worse.Even Before Romo went down in the eagles game T-Will was trash with Romo

Remember when that "bum" had 3 tds in the playoffs last year.

He was a bum then, and a bum now

Apply tight coverage and he cant catch it. Has to be open, busted coverage and have separation to score.

Show me those 3 TD's the BUM scored on in the playoffs. Show me they were in tight coverage. or did he have space between him and the defender?

I barely see dude make contested catches for a 6-2 guy. He maybe has a total of 10 contested catches in his whole career. Beasley has more than this bum at 5'8

Lack of separation and dropping passes right in the numbers are not worthy of #2 status. Every one of his notable catches were on deep slant routes and broken plays where he basically ran himself into a deep slant. That's a one trick pony.

EXACTLY

This is how he made his living. Romo will never dare throw it up to this guy in tight coverage 9/10 times he wont catch it, or it's picked.

that 1 out of 10 he might get lucky.

Yes, we had several games worth of poor performances in the 2nd half alone, and hopefully the Cowboys will take it out on the Saints Sunday night and make their fans miserable so we can put it behind us.

So the defenders of this guy, are you all finally seeing the light? Or are we just going to blame this on weeden? I seen guys still perform with or without their star QB. Not give bagels.

Do you all still believe we do not need to upgrade? Is he still a great number 2? With the great Seattle catch and the touchdowns from last year?

What did Atlanta's #2 Roddy White do? Would you say Roddy over Terrance? Meh. It happens.

I like watching Dez stop on a route and have the ball hit his hands and drop them as well. He supposedly has Spider-Man hands.

He's dropped two passes this year, both on slants. Maybe, and this is just a maybe, that's not his strong suit. Dude is a #2 that hauls in deep balls and and sideline catches like they are nothing.

And if you guys think Williams is the only #2 and #3 in this league that drops passes from time to time, you simply don't watch games outside of the ones Cowboys play.

Show me another WR that has made as many clutch catches as Williams has in his first two years. There won't be many.

He put up a bagel as our number 1. :lmao:

Beasley is 10x bettter than this stone handed bum. He can only make a play with separation, busted plays, or just plain wide open.

Keep making excuses for this number 5 WR.

He was talking all that **** in TC about not disappearing, and playing better. Putting up bagels and donuts on the score board is not playing better.:lmao2:
