Anyone notice the staple in our offense all these years today? Good grief the button hook/come back whatever you want to call it. Effective but boring. All the shifts, etc, but this is still the same old offense folks. But finally we have a Master calling the plays with a feel for today’s game.

The first half looked very similar to past years, but not so much the 2nd half. We threw more vertical passes in the second half.

every team runs them, to me nothing boring about it and can help to set up a go rout

I wish Dallas wasn't the only team that ran button hooks.

Yep. Cooper scored his TD on a button hook lol

Nothing you said pointed to sarcasm
Read my post again. Do you honestly think I would think that Dallas is the only team in the league that runs hook routes? Seriously?

Everyone that knows me around hear knows I loathe this route. It’s only good for the 1st down as all your momentum is coming back towards the QB. This is all we ran with JG and Linny calling plays. Mixed in with Moore calling them it works however. Gallup could make a living with that one route. It’s still boring.

Well, 32 teams run it all the time.

The difference is, Dak threw that route a lot. A lot of other quarterbacks choose a different receiver.

Now Dak is, too.

The thing about button hooks is, if the timing is right and the route is ran well, they are really hard for a defender to stop.
