Except for Pete Carroll, who was not going anywhere, I'm very thankful he didn't hire one of these guys. When you have a talented team, it is a mistake to make them waste time while the coaches try to catch up to knowing as much about the NFL as the players do.

But for the LOVE OF GOD, you should only start NEW threads with ORGINAL thoughts.. your threads all the same, just different words.

And why in the world would we want a College Coach??? Pete Carroll,, had a shot in the NFL and couldn't cut it, Bobby was off of the market before Parcells retired,, Bob Stoops?? please he couldn't coach my son's pop warner team, Urban Meyer would get killed in the NFL ,, just like Steve S. did. And besides,, you should LOVE Wade,, HE did Coach in the state of OK before.

Anyone have the ratio of college coaches that make the transition to the NFL that actually do a good job? Jimmy was one. Barry doesn't count as he wasn't actually the head coach. He was Kermit the Frog.

I hate to defend jerruh's football decisions, but these 3 quesions are silly.

Wade was the best candidate given our players and situation. He could easily make our 3-4 special and our O was top 5 last year.

These "young" coaches have done alot of nothing - nick saban being the latest casualty - so sure they weren't "fired" they quit!
