Slade - Come on Feel the Noise
A song that Quiet Riot reluctantly did and it catapulted them into the pop charts - a historical event for Metal.. unprecedented really.
Then they tried another Slade song "Ma-Mamma, we're all crazy now" - not!
BTW - I was a BIG Quiet Riot representative. Metal Health through my vains... even now.

Here I Go Again was kind of a weird deal. It was released in '82 on Saints and Sinners and was a modest hit in the UK. It was then re-released and became a number one hit five years later. The only differences were a Tawny Kitaen video and changing of one word, "like a drifter...." instead of "like a hobo...".

Drifter gave the impression in America of someone like "The Hitchhiker" from HBO's first series. Hobo made people think of BoxCar Willie...
