The case for MVP

All I care about is that a Cowboy wins SB MVP. The only award that matters.

I know this will come off as very unpopular however I don't mind if we get snubbed on all individual awards. I want the team to have a attitude with the rest of the league for the playoffs. Don't need a bunch of individual media attention for the rookies or anyone else. Want us focused on one thing only. Just me.
Good angle. I can subscribe to that.

Meanwhile, Matt Ryan has 4 TD passes today.....at halftime.

Maybe we can argue for Zeke. Very hard, imo, for RB to ho estly be MVP.
Dak has been great, but as MVP, I just dont see it.
Thats fine
Lets win a Super Bowl

MVP race is over.

Ryan threw for another 4 TDs (and 0 interceptions) in the 1st half of his game with the Saints. One half to go.

All god points and I appreciate that.

I asked Clove the same thing as he has been Romo's biggest critic (which is fine) because he thinks all Super Bowls are won because of QB's. But he refused to answer. I wasn't baiting him, just asking, and said I wouldn't reply or even judge just what his thoughts were. I really wanted his perspective.

He refused to respond which tells me all I need to know about him as a fan - don't worry - I already knew about you.

Happy New Year Brother!!!

Might have ourselves a Super Bowl...or more!
You have a question about our backup? He looked good for one series. One series does not make a season.

I don't get the logic of the OP. If it was strictly Zeke, it would make sense, not as much Dak. Not that Dak was bad, and he didn't play long, but the team was okay. With Romo they were good. With Sanchez...oy vey.

So saying without Zeke or Romo (TODAY) the team was not too good would make more sense. Really, what today showed more than anything is that Sanchez is awful or his teammates really don't like him.

Murray wasn't the MVP on his own team, Zeke is. Romo deserved it in 2014.

Our offense was completely different without Zeke in there to run the ball today, and that was with Dak and everybody else in the game.

I'm not even going to address your post because this is NOT a Dak vs Romo thread. Nice try though.

I mean I don't get it either. The offense looked mediocre at best until Romo came in so if you were doing this for Zeke I'd understand, but Dak was out shown by his backup today in the minimal play time. Ryan today is showing what I'd expect for this thread to be made.

Matt Ryan 38 TD's 7 INT's...tough to beat.

He's still playing right now and might even get another TD or eclipse 5,000 yards...or both.

Today's game should have served to make the MVP picture even clearer. With both Dak and Zeke as non-factors, our team struggled. Whether it's Dak or Zeke, one is truly deserving of the MVP title and it would be a travesty for it to go anywhere else.
Sorry, it's not a "travesty" if the award goes to Ryan.

The fact that Sanchez is horrible is not an argument that Dak is MVP. Romo had more success than Dak today without Zeke behind him, so I don't see how that's an argument in their favor.

If you can't decide who the MVP of the team is, it's hard to argue that one should be the MVP of the league (for the record, the MVP of the team and the league is our OL).

Then you know nothing about football. Surprise.

Shocking coming from you. It is no coincidence that our two best seasons in the last 20 years have come from a dominate running game.

You have turned from a respectable poster to a troll over Dak/Romo!

IMO not being able to see how the Faclons do without Matt Ryan hurts. That's why Brady shouldn't win as the Patriots went 3-1 without him.

We saw what the Cowboys look like without their potential MVP candidates. No question they're this teams MVPs.

I wasn't making it one. It was about the flaws of logic in your post considering what occurred in the actual game today. The game didn't indicate what you implied.
