Use the rest of the season to fully evaluate the team as simply just "another" team rather than "our Cowboys" to look at it better unbiased rather than a biased viewpoint.......even the biggest of homers can't possibly think this team can do anything this season. This team has more holes than a soaker hose.....Our HC is more part of the problem than the solution.
That's what I was thinking. The coaching has been evaluated for 9 years, time to move on with a new Coaching staff in order to judge the players correctly. Fisher out, McVay in, All-Pros everywhere all of a sudden.

Dez and Dak didn't click, so he had to go. Doesn't change the fact that Dak is not good enough to start 16 games in the NFL but that's where we are.
Who actually is clicking with Dak.

Mariota is considered by many a bottom feeder in the QB ladder. Where’s does that place Dak?

As I've said, Dak as he is is done and needs to be benched for someone not currently on the team ASAP. Dak just doesn't have the tools to win in the NFL right now, especially with our 3 stooges on this coaching staff.

Gurley and Donald already All Pros with an overall #1 QB in his 2nd year. McVea has optimized the situation but that team with Fischer was always a greater QB away.

Much like we are now .

You play Philadelphia and Washington in your next 3 games. You could very plausibly be in first place by the end of november. This was a bad loss at a bad time, but you still very much control your destiny.
I’ll believe that when it happens.

LOL I love how Crawford said they have to win out. Dummy you haven't even won back to back games all year and now you'll have a rabid Philly team in their house looking to deliver the haymaker that ends your season.

Good teams rise to this type of challenge..........our team/coaches/FO get in the fetal position and start planning off season vacations.

3. We haven't sucked for 22 years.

The last 22 years:

9 winning seasons
7 losing seasons (on pace for 8)
5 division titles
.509 winning percentage

22 years ago the Cowboys postseason record stood at 32-18 with 5 league championships and 10 conference championships.
Since then? 2-9 with zero appearances in any championship games.

Based on the standards of the team prior to 1997, that sucks.

New England loses clunkers early on every year. Philly didn’t show up against Seattle last year. You still have plenty of time to prove that the team that blew out Jacksonville, the team that out-muscled the lions is still in there somewhere. Your main arguments are Alex Smith and Carson Wentz being as bad as everyone here claims they are. If that’s the case, then 3-5 is still a good place when 9-7, 8-8 might get it done.

Slow starts are more easily overcome by proven winners.
