The Chicago game should be extremely interesting

I think we match up with the Bears better than any other team in the NFC. Essentially it's a matchup between Chicago, a team that has a Super Bowl-caliber defense but offensive problems, and us, a team with a Super Bowl-caliber offense but defensive problems. It could very well end in a 7-7 tie ;)

We have to win this game now.

The skins will beat the giants, and I don't think I'd be able to show my face if the skins were leading the division over us.

Luckily there's 13 games left.

If Grossman lights up our d though, I will have to slit my wrists.

This game WON'T be easy.

That Bears' D is pretty dog-gone good. If they start forcing alot of TOs, we're in big trouble.

I think we'll do our best to limit his touches. On punts, McBriar is enough of a weapon that he can kick the ball 50 yards and get it out of bounds. On kickoffs, it looks as though Folk can float it pretty well and force the return team into fair catches. We'll see though.

I just can't see a way that the Cowboys allow the only weapon Chicago has to beat them when we don't HAVE to even kick the ball to him.

I like our chances this week. I think this is a game the team is looking forward to and we will see a very fired up bunch.

Exactly right. Just ask the fins what happens when a team starts taking the ball away from you.

This will be a big test for Romo to see if he really has curtailed the impulse throws. The Bears will make you pay for it if you throw it into traffic. If the Cowboys can just keep from making the big mistake, sooner or later we're going to get some points.

We must at least rattle Grossman this week. Do our best in pressuring him even though we haven't done so in the first two games to Eli and Trent. If so, our chances of winning the game are even greater because he is worse than both of those two qb's under pressure. Our defense is getting better by the quarter (beginning of 3rd withstanding:laugh2:).

I think we have to use a bend don't break philosophy. I'm really afraid of blitzing a lot and letting Grossman throw deep. It's not like we've actually gotten to the QB when blitzing.

I agree.

As an aside my daughter, who is a rabid lifelong Cowboys fan and her husband, a Bears fan are going to the game from California. It's a good thing the love each other cuz one of them is going to be real sad. I hope it's him.:)

I compare the Pats to the Cowboys in this regard. The one team in their Div. that could challenge them were the NYJ and they destroyed them. We went out and beat the NYG. Yesterday the Pats destroyed one of the few AFC contenders, and we have the chance to do the same.

This is a statement game. Beat the Bears in Chitown and we are on a roll we could ride for the rest of the year.

If Dallas stops the run like Sunday they should be able to win the game rather easily.

At the start of the 2nd half, we weren't able to stop Ronnie Brown. Then for some reason, Cam Cameron went away from the run.

I don't see how Chicago can beat the Cowboys. I think it's close for a half and eventually a play is made that breaks the Bears back.

27-16, Cowboys

If we can get out of soldier Field with a W then the league will take notice. i f we can stop them from running and get any pressure at all on Grossman we have a good shot.

The matchup between Urlacher and Witten should be interesting as well. Urlacher is one of the best cover LB in the league. Harris will be matched up with Davis and that should be an interesting battle as well.

Yes indeed. Hopefully this will be Ware's breakout game for the season. Rex will make mistakes, especially when you bring the heat.

I like our chances! We are going in Hott!

The bears d is awesome! I know its early in the season but to win this, it would make a HUGE STATEMENT!

I say 20-17 Dallas wins in OT with a FG from Folk :starspin
