The Chiefs fans dont take us seriously

When you’ve been to back to back Super Bowls and 3 consecutive championship games it does bode well for confidence . Similar to how we felt in the 90’s.

Id definitely lean toward the Chiefs at home winning but probably come down to last possession.

Should be best test of where we are since Tampa.

Of course the fans opinions don’t matter at all, but after that performance the Cowboys players have to have the most confidence in going against a team of this caliber

I have to believe that last weeks thrashing and yesterday’s rebound has restored that confidence and I don’t see complacency creeping back in anytime soon

That game went sideways for LV on the Desean Jackson bomb and strip fumble. Totally changed the momentum after that. Then Carr started making some horrendous throws into triple coverage.

For sure, this is why I was surprised... I find it a bit over confident to just assume that they're going to easily run over us... I don't think many of their fans have watched many of our games and our using the Broncos game as a barometer... I honestly believe the Cowboys will be at their best going to arrowhead after what we went through with the Broncos.

I actually disagree with you. For the most part, our fans have been if anything teetering toward selling us short. I think the only game this year where most on the forum were over confident it was against the Broncos.. Many were calling for us to lose to the falcons, and most thought we would lose to the Chargers, Panthers, Patriots and Vikings.. I think on our forum most of us are jaded from all the collapsing so I don't see us as an over confident bunch..

Well, thats not entirely true.. I went to their forum as well and they were worried and talking about what had to go right to win.. The disrespect at the Chief's forum is off the charts. They honestly all believe it's an easy win, as I said before, I find that an odd take...

Yes at times I think Mahomes has been extremely lucky with some of his throws. He does great with wide open receivers, and the angles he can throw from helps, as you said.
I often said, get him in some straight up contested throws, he is average. But then again that can apply to most QB's.
As I also always said, he has some great surrounding talent in his receivers getting open.

We need to control that come Sunday. Especially Kelce.

that is why I said DB's can't assume the ball is not coming to their guy, Mahomes will throw to anyone, any where so guys need to make sure they stay with their assignment even if QB is going away from them because he will make those crazy throws

This is one of the frustrating things about the wilderness Jerry has had us in for over 20 years. You get upstarts like the Chiefs and their fans chirping and being dismissive of a Blue Blood organization. I wonder if the Bucs fans have become overly chesty since they are the defending Super Bowl champs

I so badly just want us to get solid and stay solid and get back on that postseason stage. Would love for us to remind the NFL who we are!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They played really well last night. They've been inconsistent and plain bad for a lot of the season so I'm sure they're hoping they've turned the corner. Two years ago they went from 6-4 to SB winner.

I think this is a good time to construct a thread discussing this game and whether or not we should be viewed as a legitimate threat.

I grew up being a fan of the Chiefs as well and that is thanks to my grandfather who was a huge fan so moseying over to their forum isn't out of the norm for me...

One thing that struck me was when I was over at their forum they're totally 100% all saying that beating us should be an easy win. Some of the things they brought up was that we've beat bad teams, and that Big Mike was a horrible coach and Andy Reid has his number.

Some of the other things were that our linebackers are terrible, and that Dak has a noodle arm. They also pointed out that the beating we took at the hands of the Bronco's was an example of who we really are...

They believe their defense will shut down our run and we will collapse.. They're talking about running table easily...

I don't know about you guys, but I see a team in Kansas City that has some serious issues. I'm not about to be like their fans and assume we're going to walk into their house and whip them, but I seriously don't understand why the delusion is so prevalent.

For me, this is one of those games where it could go either way, but to assume we're an easy out is pure idiocy.
