Defending Dak is the height of ludicrous. First of all, it’s a known passing situation and the Rams are only rushing four. Second, Dak has plenty of time to go though the whole right side of his progression and bails. Third, it looks like he has a guy in his crossing route but can’t really tell.

But the main problem is blaming Collins or the ref is utter idiocy.

Dak had the whole right side to bail non-existent pressure. But he turned and spinned the opposite direction into the pressure and danced, while Collins was caught in this tango dance routine.

And then people gonna blame the refs for stopping the play when Donald is right there about to blow of Dak.

It’s just awful pocket presence and you need to just stop defending these types of embarrassing plays that happen regularly.

Seems like the referee credo this year is:

When in doubt - invent something.

They should have said - We F'ed up.
Reset the play clock and we'll do the down over.

I'm still lost on that play- can someone tell me what he was doing?

Only thing ludicrous is your thread.

Dak looked petty drunk on that play...
Strangest play I have ever seen.

Whistle should never have blown.

DAK was escaping and they stopped the play.

Even the replay official in NY said this.

Another bad call by the refs this year.

I think he panicked. He showed zero pocket presence and I think that play on top of missing what should have been easy throws threw of the confidence of the entire team for a bit.... which is no excuse for the defense, which was abysmal all on its own, but it can't have helped. Had the Cowboys kept the scoring closer longer, it might have made a difference.
