Yeah, it was one pass in one preseason. I have just been reading things today about his play like he's the next great qb who did no wrong and kept thinking I thought I saw him throwing a a couple of his passes at the WR's feet. Wasn't adding up in my head, but seems that was more me. :)

Of course, some people think Manning looked good and I thought from the highlights he was uneven at best.
Ok, I'm gonna be totally honest here....I kinda agree with you lol.

I started feeling as if some sportswriters were overhyping RG3's performance because they felt that's what most of their readers and followers wanted to hear/read.

On a scale of 1-10, I thought his performance was a 6.5...however, considering he's a rookie making his first preseason start playing behind an O-Line missing 3 starters against a rather potent D-Line, his poise, calm demeanor and the way he looked like the game wasn't too big for him earns him an extra point or two.

Quite possible they were just hyping the existing hype (and there's been a lot of it). And I'm sure if I have a chance to watch a bit more, it would be impressive all things considered.

I look forward to the regular season and how he plays then.

Of course, as a Cowboys fan, I think I have to hope he falls flat on his face and busts bigger than Leaf. ;)

RG!!! is the new savior in Washington.

Apparently the entire DC area is pumped after last night and have Super high expectations. RG!!! dominated the news as the primary subject there.

Typical Skins fans. They probably see the division title as realistic. I know my brother-n-law has already been talking 10-6 for the Foreskins.

Okay, so he went 4-6 doing screen passes, why the hell is everyone saying he's SO amazing?

Some of the things written in this thread are innacurate. There was only one screen pass (not 2-3), and not a single ball hit the dirt (like someone else mentioned).

He was poised and didn't look like he was a rookie.

Can't really ask for a better performance by a rookie, in such limited action; that's about it.

First preseason game mean next to nothing, and who wins or loses any preseason game mean next to nothing.
But I do think RG3 will become a very good QB in time.
I too think the same about RG3 he looked pretty good in that game and yes preseason games are just that preseason.

He mentioned that the game was easier than practice. That's because the Skins have been throwing everything at him in practice and it's been difficult for him. Not to mention the fact that, the Skins are getting lots of pressure from the front 7.

He passed his first test. He'll have another one next week against an angry Bears team. Also, I bet they do more with him next week, move him around, and even call some option plays.

He came back to DC in one piece and did not look Blaine Gabbert/Heath Shuler overwhelmed. Cool, confident and poised. The accurate passes were just bonus
Blaine Gabbert looked halfway decent yesterday, too lol...

Do you remember how much flak we took for not drafting Gabbert last year? We had to endure the Rex/Beck experiement, but I think it''s to say it was worth it.

Also, I hear Matt Flynn may not even start in Seattle?

A lot of RAC. And what's up with the stupid looking glove and arm sleeve. That looks down right, well, stupid! Was it cold last night?

Party on the left, business on the right. Get used to it.
