I hate to be doom and gloom and often I am not. I am the most positive and have been for the longest time, but this game told us a lot. what happened during the game told us a lot. I saw a team that started to give up a little bit. and a coaching staff that just wasn't ready. not ready at all and was caught by surprise. we played like it was preseason.
we layed and egg yesterday. big time. offense looked horrible. even against a good defense, we looked worse than we should. losing a center, shouldn't totally shut down an offense, I refuse to believe that as an excuse. ....they looked out of sorts and outside of one desparate drive they couldn't get in gear....I think if we go out and lay an egg against giants, the countdown is well underway to perhaps mid season firing...garrett's one ammo had been he always had the team...they played hard for him and if the team struggles again, he will start to lose players confidence and we will see a rapid degradation of the team like Wade Phillips... yesterday by 4th quarter, some of the offensive players, just didn't want to be out there and weren't going at it full force
Linehan just doesn't have it. he was very unimaginative and couldn't call any plays...always played to the hands of defense....Moore is a bad QB coach and is/was a Linehan pet project. he made it to the team as a back up because of linehan and he is now the QB coach because of him...
and the countdown to Dak being out of dallas also begins.... if this coaching staff is fired which now has a high probability, the new staff has no ties to Dak. Its obvious that Dak is very limited. he still struggles reading defenses and is very inaccurate. people want to blame WRs, but its the NFL, catching windows are tight and you have to make those throws. I watched Rodgers last night and he made a name for Allison (WR)...he made some very tight throws on a bum knee... dak missed 4 or 5 wide open throws. in the NFL, you get those wide open opportunities, you better cash in...all games are going to be close and those little things add up (or down). its Obvious that Dak doesn't make the WRs, the WRs need to make Dak.....
