They are definitely building this team right through the draft. Getting guys in later rounds that are contributing and hitting on their higher draft picks.

Agree, the coaching is better as well, hope the Jones Boy’s learn something here.

They've had good drafts for years now and still haven't gotten over the hump. It's not personnel, it's coaching.

Drafting well will only get you so far. You need to supplement the draft with other resources to build the roster..trades, free agency, etc..the roster has been a problem…so has coaching

We’ve drafted well for a decade but since McCathy’s been coach it’s gone up a notch. As others have mentioned, we’ve got to get better with signing our own guys on reasonable contracts. Armstrong is a start.

I'm anxious to see what the roster looks like in a couple more years. If they keep have solid drafts the Cowboys will be very good for a while.

The question is; can they keep them from going to other teams when they become free agents ?

I think Dan Quinn is making the difference b/c he's using guys in ways that give them a chance at success. He's made a huge difference in the career trajectory of guys like Donovan Wilson and Dorrance Armstrong. Heck, even Trystan makes a few plays a game now.

Atlanta? Amazing how great coaching becomes when players make plays.

Has Tomlin simply forgotten how to coach?
