Micah Parsons is a symptom of the problem. The issue is in the C suite. Always has been, always will be unless they reverse course 180 degrees. The Jones care about relevance and marketing. Football is a vessel to get there.

That's weak. We haven't had a defensive alpha male on this team in 20 years. And I'm not talking role players. I'm talking stars. Jerry doesn't neuter people they are already that way. If we had Ray lewis he would've been ray lewis. Sean Taylor would've been Sean Taylor. Etc etc.

Whatever a "Culture of Excellence" is, we don't have it here. We have a culture of hype over substance, hope over competence and comfort over accountability. The result is players who think they have achieved something backing into the playoffs and expect to win by just showing up. And it repeats year after year.
