The Dallas Cowboys have waived DT Justin Rogers and CB Luq Barcoo following mandatory minicamp.

They have signed DT Perrion Winfrey (2022 R4 pick, UFL in ‘25) and CB Robert Rochell (2021 R4 pick, GB in ‘24) in their place.

The Dallas Cowboys have made two moves to bolster their depth, signing two free agents on Wednesday at two of their perceived biggest needs on defense. Cornerback Robert Rochell and defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey are now both Cowboys.






Rochell most recently played with the Packers, where he was teammates with Jaire Alexander, a popular target of Cowboys fans who signed with Baltimore earlier on Wednesday. Rochell was a fourth-round pick out of Central Arkansas back in 2021.

I honestly do not know anything about Rochell. But Winfrey is a good add, if for nothing else than to take a look see.

Yeah a firearms charge in Cleveland and a Misdemeanor assault dismissed in TX.

He'll make the team if he can stay out of trouble. Cleveland released him after he was arrested for armed robbery.

The charge was later dismissed. This roster is shaping up!

I liked Winfrey coming out of the draft. He's kinda what we need for run defense.

IMO, better player than Mazi. Winfrey had a 2nd round grade.
