Bookies.com did the math to figure out which teams had the youngest rosters in the NFL.

Where did the Dallas Cowboys rank?

The Cowboys were the second youngest team in the league with the average age being 26 years, four months and 15 days.

The youngest NFL team was the Cowboys opponents on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers, whose average age was 25 years, eight months and three days.

That’s pretty remarkable. Especially since we have some guys in their 30s….

My first question from here is that the average age of the starting units or the team accumulated average, full roster?

I just thought this was interesting since they keep emphasizing that the Packers are the youngest team.
Packers offense is the youngest in (recorded) NFL playoff history. I think that goes back to 1978 where they started tracking that metric.

Their defense has a bunch of veterans which brings the average up quite a bit. They are still the youngest team in the NFL overall, however, I think most of the focus is on the age of their offense.

Playoffs are all about momentums and rhythms...still. Different things affect those aspects differently.

Not a valid view...all six of their receivers are first or second year players.

The cowboys are consistently one of the youngest teams in the league.

Its a good thing sure, but with how much turnover the league has regardless, its not that big of a deal IMO

Wondering if the Cowboys' youth and inexperience has anything to do with their questionable # of flags. Is that forgivable? H-m-m.

No, no. See. I’ve been told the Packers are the youngest team ever in human history, their youth is so amazing that it alone wins games for them, and they actually age backwards. In fact, when they fall behind, they collectively get younger and continue to get younger until their young enough to comeback and win.
