Ok. First off. That whole hitting the kicker call was a joke. Then williams gets pushed into a receiver and gets a pi call. I don't care we earned that win. Oh and romo after halftime looked incredible

Lots of bs to start that game... Wondered if it would end.

We got the calls when it mattered. Our OL was holding almost the entire game.

There's going to be calls that can go either way all the time, for the most part, I don't think there's much to complain about.

I've seen several people say the running into the kicker was bogus, but I don't understand the reasoning for this view. It was clearly a penalty.

i think the main complaint is if you're going to flag Watson for running into the kicker, why aren't you flagging the Lions player for doing the exact same thing??

consistency, there is none

Exactly. I don't care if the calls go against us but at least be consistent.

That I can agree with. If that's what people mean, that's what they should say.

The reason is that Watson hit the plant leg, whereas the Lions defender hit the kicking leg. It's perceived that more damage can be done to the plant leg, so they make a lot of calls based on that. Not saying I agree with it, but that's the difference.

although rarely called, not allowing the punter to replant his kicking leg is in the rulebook as running into the kicker. they had a 1st and 10 from the 10 at that point, our defense was just awful in the 1st quarter.

it is hard to swallow seeing the team rewarded for stepping on the butt of your player, but those are the rules

the running into the kicker was the right call, it was very stupid of us to try and block it

they could have made the same call on us, but it just would have been a repunt

they made the right call to pick up the late PI call

Right, if the refs aren't going to call holding, just grab them and hang on because that's what the other team is going to be doing.:)

Watson didn't actually touch him, but he didn't allow the punter to replant his kicking leg. once the punter stepped on his butt, it was a foul on us.

the cowboys got screwed all day on non calls.

they were holding all day.

the one i really hated was the non call on mincey.

he was absolutely abused on his deflection that wilber intercepted.

no call. look at his jersey. i know it would not matter because we got the ball. ..but it happened.

no call on running into jones.

hell yea...watson ran into their punter....why did we not get the same call?

again...it would of not mattered because we pinned them deep....but it's the principle of things here.

I saw other missed calls, Detroit hands to the face on our OL not called several times as well.

hold up, hitting the plant leg = roughing the kicker. NOT running into

Watched the highlights again.....after the running into the kicker call Stafford ran for a first down on 3rd and 8 from around the 15-20 yard line. He bounced off of Patton I believe. Once he sheds the tackle the next defender is pushed in the back big time and this allows Stafford to turn up field and pick up the first down....a huge non call because they would have punted and instead drive down for a TD.....

Watch this play again and see what a blown call it was....

Even if we got the call for running into the kicker on us it's just a 5 yd penalty.
