After week 1 I was ready to write the season off.

Can't believe we're 9-3 right now.
especially given the brutal schedule we have. That is why its impressive. Colts had a top 5 rated defense actually and a helluva running game. Texans have a great rb and if we stop him, we win.

Calling the 1-10-1 Texans a "major hurdle" is like calling the common cold a life-altering illness. Take it seriously but kick its butt as you should.

For this alone I respect McCarthy. JG always waffled every season from good to 8-8. Not only are we doing well 2 years in a row, but we seem better despite losing some good pieces last off-season

They should have double digit wins next year as well.

They are not talking about beating the Texans as a team, they are talking about the Cowboys having back-to-back double digit winning seasons.

That has not happened since the 95-96 seasons.

Don't mansplain to me what's being talked about and get over yourself. Your intervention isn't needed. ;)

its the NFL. Any given Sunday man. Thats why we play the games. We better be ready because we get every teams best.

absolutely. I'm not suggesting they can't lose. I'm just saying they need to beat the teams they are clearly better than. Prefer the boys win by 30 but i'll take any win vs a loss.

Seeing something like this always reminds me just how bad of a decision it was to hold on to Garret for so long. You're telling me Cowboy teams with prime Romo, Ware, Dez, Witten, etc were not good enough to get back to back double digit win seasons? I know we had a good 2014 season but in hindsight Garret should have been fired after going 8-8 in 2013. Anyway, feels good
I wanted him gone after 15’. He didn’t have a losing season and then had a 12 win season, but that 4 win season even with no romo for me was inexcusable. It’s like, you seen Romo was injury prone and didn’t have a backup plan when he went down. If that happens in 11’ or 12’ so be it. But we seen a few years of knowing he’s one hit away from missing multiple games. In my opinion 16’ as good as it was for Garrett should have never happened
