Zack Tom C / T Wake Forest

has some versatility has played tackle couple him with my first round selection Green the A&M guard and the OLine is taking on a new look . Picture him beating out competition at center and can play tackle when 77 is hurt .

Now go and get at least one receiver and concentrate the bushel of picks left upgrading the D along with Muma my second round LB. I would certainly not draft a kicker unless someone is left at the end of your draft you think can be game one kicker for the coming season .

There is absolutely no reason why this team should not use a 4th or 5th rounder on Cade York. At that point in the draft you are pretty much throwing darts at the board any way when it comes to position players. Why not lock up a kicker on a very affordable deal that has the potential to become a consistent franchise cornerstone?

This club has so many needs . The kicking game was the least of it when the 49ers bounced Dallas out of the tournament.

Like I said towards the end of the draft want to burn a 5th ( Cowboys have what 3 of them ) or a 6th and you think it’s a kicker who can win the job not just training camp cannon fodder ok . Certainly not the 4th round .

They won’t have a huge overturn.

Backup QB
WR
TE
OT
OC
LB
K

Only things they likely have to fill

The name popping up a lot lately is Jelani Woods who I actually like.

Edge and DT seem to be on the grocery list . If Jerry’s paying the electric bill he gets to buy the groceries and the architect ( Will McClay ) of a 12-5 squad that swept that rundown division is not spending anything but a 5th probably a 6th on a kicker if that .

I’m not interested in a place holder throw away DT which IMO is a critical position. We already have all the slop we need. I’m taking Jones in rd 1 the OG in rd 2 and I’d prefer Woods or Ruckert or Sam Williams in rd 3. I do think that Center is a big need and if the FO believes the Tom is an upgrade on Biadasz then I’ll be all for it

I think this is where they move up to grab what they think will be their starting LG:
Sean Rhyan; Jamaree Salyer: Dylan Parham

With all the money spent wisely on Schultz not real interested in spending a 3 on a TE . A wide receiver who can actually come in and be a target not a forgotten rookie ( Fehoku ) sure I can see in the 3rd but would rather the player I suggested on the OL .

McKeon who looked like he can actually run routes and catch passes can’t he service as TE # 2 behind Schultz or has he left the building ?

A 3rd round or later TE is a pick for 2023 to replace Schultz.
