Afraid of negative yardage on 1st and 10 at the 31 with 27 seconds and two timeouts in hand.

Afraid of using Romo to hold, who Bailey has been perfect with from the get go... no surprise Bailey missed the first fg, that hold was horrific.

Afraid of playing a WR who has had more than enough time to heal and get on the field.

Afraid of using the FB they drafted, called up, and had a nifty reception for good yardage- more as the lead blocker they desperately need.

Afraid of big plays against them- therefore back all secondary up 10 yards in zone coverage and forget to defend the flats at all.

Why? Because they send everyone else after the QB because they are afraid if they don't he will have time to find the gaping holes in the secondary.

Afraid the fg unit isn't lined up properly so let's burn the time out and ice our own kicker.

Afraid of hurting former starter's feelings so let's forget the horse who has carried you to 4 straight victories and mess with his rhythm a lil bit.

Afraid to use a reality star WR who has worked his butt off and does nothing but make grabs in big spots more, because they are afraid he's still too slow and lacks talent to be productive.

Afraid to use your best PR and KR's 75% of the season because they might get hurt.

Afraid to have your franchise QB throw the football against a top team to secure a victory needing a single first down to do so.

I could go on, but the truth of the matter is as much as I love the team and the players on it- we're a chicken **** organization.

And I was on the Garrett bandwagon but he better show some cojones going forward. What a joke and a disaster of a coaching performance yesterday in Arizona.

Jerry has every right to be furious with yesterday's debacle.

Agree for the most part. This team folds under the pressure of actually being the Dallas Cowboys.

Also, they are stupid.

The Cowboys have always been high drama, but they always brought a winning persona to the game with them regardless of outcome. Those days are over.

We are playing scared, and Scared to unleash Romo, until it is to late.

Let him go beast mode early and often

solid post. i agree 100%.

i like jason. he is one of us. he has been here for the glory years.

that being said, i did not expect this much indecisiveness and lack of killer instinct from him.

i'm 100% confident if he lets romo throw the ball on 2nd or 3rd down, we win that patriots game. we were not facing the 85 bears defense....it was the patriots pass defense which is one of the worst in the league!

yesterday, was another story. never in my life, have i heard a head coach use the "fear of a negative play" determine his play calling.

that is such a defeatist attitude.

It's anaphoric. And it doesnt make the post any more accurate.

Afraid of negative yardage on 1st and 10 at the 31 with 27 seconds and two timeouts in hand.

There was reason to be afraid, though. The OL was terrible yesterday with lots of negative plays between penalties and TFL

Afraid of using Romo to hold, who Bailey has been perfect with from the get go... no surprise Bailey missed the first fg, that hold was horrific.

I don't think afraid is the right word but I think it is a bit disrespectful to put your starting QB out there to hold. It should be the backups job but Kitna can't do it and McGee has been inactive most of the year. Come back to this point when it is routine around the league for the starting QB to be the holder. We may go back to Romo but it is stupid and Coach D should have trained someone else to do it by now.[/COLOR

Afraid of playing a WR who has had more than enough time to heal and get on the field.

In case you haven't noticed this is the 3rd time this year Miles has injured that hamstring. Maybe he is a slow healer because the injury keeps recurring. The only proven thing for these injuries is to give them time, stretching and strengthening exercises. I think the medical staff decided to play it safe here so Miles is ready to go for the stretch drive. The bottom line is we need to beat the Giants to win the division

Afraid of using the FB they drafted, called up, and had a nifty reception for good yardage- more as the lead blocker they desperately need.

I don't know afraid is the right word. The kid might not be very good. He was a 7th round pick and put on the PS even before wwe found Fiammetta. He is a bottom of the roster churn player who probably won't be on the team next year

Afraid of big plays against them- therefore back all secondary up 10 yards in zone coverage and forget to defend the flats at all.

I'd be afraid too with TNew and Ball back there. We need to upgrade the CBs. You're in denial. Our personnel isn't good enough to play that style of defense

Why? Because they send everyone else after the QB because they are afraid if they don't he will have time to find the gaping holes in the secondary.

Actually, we don't blitz a lot. I think we are about league average. Ryan is often content to play coverage. You really don't pay much attention during the games, do you?

Afraid the fg unit isn't lined up properly so let's burn the time out and ice our own kicker.

This is irrelevant. We have two timeouts. Take the time to make sure everything is alright. This is overblown only because Bailey misses the kick.

Afraid of hurting former starter's feelings so let's forget the horse who has carried you to 4 straight victories and mess with his rhythm a lil bit.

I actually suspect Felix is a better RB than Murray. Murray was benefitting from some gaping holes that Fiammetta was opening up. Felix was stupendous in the first game against Washington and won that game for us with several big runs when the passing offense wasn't working. Murray has done next to nothing without Fiammetta out there. I think it is around 3.3 ypc. He is not nearly as elite as those around here think he is. Felix has averaged more ypc than Murray over the past 3 weeks while Fiammetta has been out. there was a huge disparity between Felix and Murray on Sunday. If anything, I would say Garrett was afraid to bench Murray for Felix who was clearly more effective but I understand that decision since Murray has had some monster games recently and has earned the starter spot

Afraid to use a reality star WR who has worked his butt off and does nothing but make grabs in big spots more, because they are afraid he's still too slow and lacks talent to be productive.

Holley is still very green. He is getting better and is being used more. I think he is earning his stripes as a WR this year

Afraid to use your best PR and KR's 75% of the season because they might get hurt.

Well they were back there yesterday. Dez has been hurt twice already in his young career on returns so it is not that unusual that we would be afraid to use him while Miles is out. As for Felix, he has just gone back there now that Murray is the starter. Not many starting RBs returns KOs. I would also say that many people expose core team members to that duty due to the risk of injury on these plays.

Afraid to have your franchise QB throw the football against a top team to secure a victory needing a single first down to do so.

There is some legitimacy here but it was about 3rd and 14 due to a couple of losses on running downs and a penalty on the OL. That is a tough conversion and a TO here would basically give the game away. I can understand the sentiment and if it was 3rd and 10 or less we would have thrown

I could go on, but the truth of the matter is as much as I love the team and the players on it- we're a chicken **** organization.

and you mirror the organization's defeatist attitude. And if you think Murray isn't as good as Felix.... what the hell have you been watching?

I'm not convinced that Murray is better - he is just different.

I think Felix was clearly the more effective back without Fiammmetta.

Murray worked very well with Fiammetta over those four games. However, Felix had a monstrous game with Fiammetta, too.

You're drinking the Murray Kool-aid. I don't blame you, everyone else is. There is nothing in their histories as players to suggest Murray is better outside of a 4-game sample when Murray went off with gaping holes opened up by a brilliant FB. I think Felix wold have gained major yardage, too.

I am fine with how the RBs were used yesterday but would like to see both of them running some more screeens. I would like both RBs to get about 30-35 touches per game between passes and runs.

Murray has better vision, more strength, and a little more wiggle. But he's also a rookie. And when he was in the game, it seemed like they crowded the box than when Felix was in there. I think they respected Felix more as a receiver.

Felix has the edge with experience, but I think Murray will get there. It's funny how people are screaming about Garrett putting Felix in for Murray, but it was clear who the more effective runner was yesterday.

They are more dumb than afraid. Too many penalties and basic lapses in judgement. That includes the coaching staff.

Bottom line is Garrett has no balls, thats it.
