Our defense has absolutely SUCKED in our last two home games. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a defense fold like a cheap suit like this one does when we get punched in the mouth. The offense did move the ball early on, but we couldn’t keep them out of the end zone. This caused us to force things on offense. I don’t see any difference between this defense with Zimmer and the one we had with DQ. This was like watching the Packers playoff game all over again. The defense is an embarrassment.

Our defense is as soft and heartless as it gets. Every game that we get destroyed in, it all starts with the defense not being able to make stops and giving up big plays. The Saints offense was having their way with us. Offensively we were moving the football early, but we got so far behind it put everything on our passing game. Plus, we couldn’t run the ball. The Cowboys have some real issues.

It starts at the top. The Joneses have been here the entire 28 years. There’s something seriously wrong with the defenses we’ve had over the years. The defense could look great one week and horrible the next. This has been going on through the years. When we play great on defense, we usually win and everything falls into place. When we play horrible on defense, it’s a debacle. We end up having to air it out all day and when we can’t run the football, it’s a disaster. Once again, a lot of fans are putting the entire game on Dak with not one mention of our defense. We were moving the football well early, but the defense just couldn’t keep the Saints out of the endzone.
