If you think about it...

We have been playing some of the top teams in the league. We are going to be playing (roughly) two playoff type teams in the Ravens and the Eagles. If we lose either one, we are basically out of the playoff race. And who doesn't consider last week's victory over the Giants a must-win?

Yep, the Cowboys playoff run really began last week. If we lose, we are out. And just think how we would have had to win only 2 home games last season to get to the superbowl. It really sickens me.

I think everyone understood that the playoffs started for Dallas as soon as Romo threw that INT in pittsburgh.

I may have a small and brief pity party if the loss of the Pitt game costs us the #1 or 2 seed. We let em off the hook.

We technically haven't played a must-win game yet, so no, the playoffs haven't begun. Philly could be the first must-win.

If we lose the Balt game then we may not go to the playoffs. You can't count on Atl, TB, Philly losing.

I agree. We ARE in playoff mode. Probably since Pitt game.

With that said... you know what.. we lost to Pitt.... now I look at it like "do over" or "better to happen in regular season".

Now... I can deal with one more regular season loss and getting in as 6th seed.... and not losing another game until somewhere into the 2009 season.

I'd rather let a quality team like Pittsburgh "off the hook" than allow inferior teams like the Rams beat us, which is what we did. That is the game I will look back at and rue if we miss the postseason.

We'll see...I think Philly is going to be a must win, but there is a good chance that Atlanta will lose @Minnesota. Not a lock, but a good chance. If that happens, and we beat Philly, then Baltimore won't matter.

I think it's a big advantage to be playing Saturday night because it keeps the pressure on. And I think we'll win convincingly - not necessarily by a lot of points, but without Baltimore being a threat offensively

I believe you are right about Saturday. It keeps us from feeling the pressure caused by scoreboard watching. I'd rather not know what Tampa and Atlanta do and just go out and concentrate on winning this game. The setup is definitely advantageous.
