I swear some of the posts in this place actually cause me to feel my IQ start to drop.

Yeah, as soon as I seen "defence" and not "defense".....well, enough written...

Dallas hasn't had a cornerback since Deon Sanders. Why is it so hard to find good college corners that can play numbers defence. Anwser is...none of the cowboy scouts or coaches knows **** about covering receivers. What about the LB's and their tackeling skills? What good is it if Romo throws 4 TD's a game, when the LB's look like turnstyles? The secondary..including James and the other LB's SUCK. Unless Dallas gets some new blood in the secondary, nothing's gonna change.

Ummmm....ok. Over react much?

There is this guy in the secondary, named Newman. Obviously you've never heard of him but, keep this secret quiet, he's actually real good.

Well, I understand you have an opinion. I doubt most feel that way but I do think there are some things worth discussing. Although I've thought a lot of Campo's d work in the past, I'm not as certain anymore. I'm not saying he sucks as that's far from it. I do wonder how well he does in press coverage and man to man coverages. Is that something he's really good at coaching?

James is a LB and not part of the secondary. They really try to not leave ILBs on speedy guys to cover deep. James is not supposed to be covering guys much anyway as he's the SILB. That's more an OLB job or a WILB although at times he can be esp including when a FB goes out in the flats and Ware rushes yada. Someone has to cover if the CB goes back.

It's hard to see DBs and LBs in coverage watching the TV only. Even when you get to see the play develop you can't always tell what the D scheme was nor what a safety or LB calls out.

Considering Newman was out meaning no press coverage and (even with) Tra Battle as safety...once Newman came back the change in coverage was immediately pretty good.
Toward the end minus a couple of bone-head plays the defense (secondary included) was looking very good. The eagles game was the entire team collectively rolling onto it's back.
