Right lol maybe we spent too much on these low budget guys!!How they didn’t win a Super Bowl this year continues to blow my mind.

Sure we do Stephen will be the first to say WE FEEL like we got good value etc etc etcHonestly never thought I'd see someone trying to justify our bargain-bin free-agent acquisitions, yet here we are. Oh Dan Rodgers...................
If Zimmer is staying, I don't mind Kendricks coming back as a stopgap since Overshown might not play next year. I don't think we need to sign a vet or use an early draft pick on a linebacker since we have Liufau and Overshown as our youth there, to pair with Parsons when we are in the 4-3.Kendrick should come back as a starter tbh. Everybody else backups......some backup to the backup
With us not likely to re-sign Lawrence (he'll want too much), I wouldn't mind re-signing Lawson to rotate with Parsons, Kneeland and Williams. Of course, I also wouldn't mind us bringing in a legitimate pass rusher to pair with Parsons. I just don't know if it is a priority at the moment after we took Kneeland in the second last year.Lawson was a really nice signing and one they were reluctant to do.
Other than Kendricks, the rest are mostly JAGS. Is Dan Roger's related to Jerry?
Yeah he was a solid signing and replaced the kind of production we got from Fowler or Armstrong. Would be nice to have him back as that 3rd or 4th rotational DE, especially not knowing the status of DLAW next year.Lawson was a really nice signing and one they were reluctant to do.
Oruwariye as a fourth or fifth corner is perfectly already. If we were to not re-sign Lewis and sign Oruwariye to be the third corner, I'd feel a lot differently about that.Amani O ( until he touched the blocked punt ) has been serviceable at DB and Carl Lawson has pressured the QB gotten some sacks . I would try to bring those 2 back along with Kendrick’s .

Of course, with Diggs possibly out for at least part of the season, we've got a problem to solve at one of our starting corner spots. I don't know if Carson will advance to the level where he could be an option there. I also like what we saw briefly from Butler, but again, not a player I want the team relying on to start.
With all these expiring contracts ( Dowdle OSA Golston ) as well the Jones bookkeeping firm has its work cut out for it
Just sit down and bang them out. NFL contracts aren't that hard. Just get them done. And Jerry, don't try to sell me the BS "both parties are working hard" crap either.I don’t see how the Cowboys let Lewis walk

It'll likely depend on what he's asking, but it sounds like he wants to stay here and they like to pay their own (most of the time), so I expect him to be re-signed.I don’t see how the Cowboys let Lewis walk
I think Lawrence is gone but Micah, Kneeland, Williams and Lawson gives you enough that DE isn't a glaring need. You'd still like to add but you don't absolutely have to.Yeah he was a solid signing and replaced the kind of production we got from Fowler or Armstrong.
