Fittingly enough, on October 10, 1976 the Cowboys were the opponent when the New York Giants opened their new stadium in the Meadowlands in front on 76,042 fans. Scoring the first-ever touchdown in the venue was Robert Newhouse, who rushed from eight yards out. Dallas went on to win the game, 24-14.

Here's hoping the home team wins this time.:)

I was at that game. It was great to see Staubach and Landry live. The victory made it a day I will never forget.:starspin

I'm surprised the media hasn't touched on this more. Maybe they have, but I missed it. I just hope the Cowboys don't allow the Giants to return the favor.
