They will package the 4th round pick as a deal sweetener. In which they'll trade back to #10 and only get a 3rd round pick
Not sure they could slip that far record wise because of the inconsistent poor play league wide. The amount of change will be too much, and certain problems remain.
Contrary to what I posted before, I don't think Joe Milton is the answer. I watched him at Tennessee, and was really surprised he made it to the NFL.
I had him mixed up with Hendon Hooker, who preceded him at UT. He may be better than I think, but at Tennessee he was not yet a fully skilled leader. Joshua Dobbs was the better of these three quarterbacks, but Hooker is very good, too.
And that's the problem with today's college game; the quarterbacks barely stay a year, and then they leap to the NFL draft.
Milton is very talented, but whether or not he is ready for the NFL remains to be seen.
But the Cowboys remain without a capable leader under center, and that doesn't bode well for any team- much less a team struggling to adapt to a new coach.
I think Schottenheimer may have great potential, but he is taking the reigns at a bad time.
Not to mention a defense that is also rebuilding under new leadership.
I think 1-16 is very possible for this squad. If they struggle early, I think the wheels come off early.
That’s optimistic IMO but I’m not gonna try to tell you how to feel about it.this !
They are too stupid to tank for manning, if he is coming out in 26.
I already predicted dallas at 10-7 and a WC spot.
The Cowboys are not the worst team in the NFL ... I mean we have a ton of dysfunction and paying 60 million for a middle of road QB, but I can't see us being worse than some of these other dumpster fires. The amount of change will be too much, and certain problems remain.

Dak isnt Mahomes, but the man finished SECOND in MVP voting 2 years ago. Has the guy ever had a losing season in which he didnt miss half the season? get real. The amount of change will be too much, and certain problems remain.
