I just woke from an afternoon nap after working out and had a silly dream about the Cowboys....
I dreamed that during a Cowboy practice that everything that Bledsoe did was in slow motion...his handoffs, his passes, his running, everything. As soon as the play started everyone else moved normal but Bledsoe...he was always in slow motion. Defenders would break throught the line and start coming to nail Bledsoe...but...since he had on a RED jersey, the defense was not allowed to touch him AT ALL...even when he was in slow motion!
During a break in practice some players got together and held Bledsoe down and they took off his RED jersey and stuffed it into a Gatorade bucket and sunk it to the bottom where Bledsoe could not find it...
When practice started again, Bledsoe was in there without his red jersey and when the plays were being run...Bledsoe was as fast as lightning! His passes and handoffs were quick...he dropbacks were fast and the ball came out like a laser, right in the hands of the recievers...no patting the ball, no indecision...he was playing really fast! The defenders would break through the line, but, by the time they got there to hit Bledsoe, because they knew they could now because he did not have his RED jersey on, it was to late...Bledsoe had the ball already in the air...lightning fast!
Then some next door dogs started wailing because an ambulance or police car was coming down the road and I woke up...
Then I thought...that's it!! Make Bledsoe practice without his red jersey and allow the defense to bust his butt if they get to him! Maybe that will make him faster in games with his decisions! Stop pampering him and make him practice like the rest of the team...! If a defender gets to him, nail his butt to the floor! That will teach him!
You play like you practice...so if Bledsoe does have on a RED jersey during practice, make him take if off and play like it's a real game!
Maybe part of Bledsoe's problem is that he's used to not having to make quick decisions because he knows he won't get touched during practice, so it carries over into REAL games...or maybe not...
Dreams...you never know where they will take you or what you will exerience in the nother-world...
