Watching the game, it felt like our D wasn't playing well. But looking back at it, we held them to 217 yds and 9 points for nearly 57 minutes of the game. Had 5 drives of 5 plays or less and 5 sacks and fumble recovery. Congrats to the D for stepping up!

Yes they were. Before the final 5 minutes, we had held a potent Packers offense to below 200 yards. 180-something IIRC.

Rogers ended up with more yards than Romo thanks to garbage yards.

They weren't giving up touchdowns it was great.

There 1 TD we basically let them have in a trade for time.

Played ok on offense and still won. lawl.

Man, we threw a whole lot of different looks at them. The average TV watcher would never notice it, but I did. ;)

Tons of looks and Rogers pretty much threw a grenade the whole game.

Congrats TEAM because this game was won by all team members.

Actually, it was 217 with 5 and a half minutes to go, but your point is still valid...

This WAS a very good defensive effort, against a very good team... I don't care about 110 yards of dumpoff passes in garbage time... the Boys gave the Pack the middle of the field, underneath, knowing there was no way Green Bay could score three times with that little time working the middle...

The Pack took what they were given, and they lost the game... that's a fair tradeoff...

I didn't think it was deceiving. I kinda thought it was readily apparent they were dominant. Just like they were in 3 quarters in the Philly game and all of the Cleveland game.

I feel bad pointing this out, cause I think this was a great win, but.....

1. Romo has to learn to live for another down.
2. Whoever is in charge of this D needs to let them develop a killer instinct, step on the opponents throat and don't let them have anything down the stretch.
3. Please stop with the ten yard cushions on the corners, I would rather see these teams work for their yards, rather than just give them 5-7 per pass completion(may be an exaggeration)

Overall though, great win against a really good team.

Did you see our DB's body slamming those Pack WR's out there tonight? :laugh2:

I thought a couple of times it was John Sena out there. Whoa!

5 sacks and held them to 4-14 on 3rd downs. That is taking charge!

Our defense played very well against a potent offense. We could have had more sacks and our pressure made Rogers throw lots of errant passes. Best thing is that we hardly blitzed. Most of our pressure came from 3 and 4 man pass rushes.

Ratliff is having a great season. He might end up in the probowl if he keeps this up.

:fact: We stomped the hell out of them, plain and simple.

Where's that thread of our worst coordinators ever where someone nominated Stewart and Wade now?
