The Dak stunk it up thread **merged**

He needed that chain mover Beasely clearly. Holding the ball too long cause there was nowhere to go.

Still bad decisions by Prescott though regardless.

He played a defense with a pulse... the result was just a formality. The image of him standing in a pocket all by himself, throwing to wide open guys against a clueless NFC East defense, seems like a lifetime ago.

Yea. He played bad today. He’s been good for most of the season, even against winning teams. But today wasn’t a good one.
He really only played well against one winning team and that was Minnesota. Outside of that he hasn’t gotten it done. 10 points against the Saints, 9 against the Pats, horrid against the Bills, shutout for a half against the Pack. He’s picked on bad D’s or piled up stats when way behind for most of his good stat sheet.

He's so reluctant to run when it's a weapon this offence needs that I'm getting mad he isn't seeing it. Unless he's been told not to run but then you'd think they also tell him not to take such big hits
Garrett wasted Romo by coaching the natural instincts out of him and he’s doing the same to Dak. Great coaching enhances a players gifts instead of trying to alter them. I know the Dak Haters are rejoicing right now. But Dak has played well this season. Tonight was just a bad game on his behalf. It happens to the best of them.

That’s normal when your team has crashed...i saw in their eyes, the look of defeat when they know it’s not going to get better.

He’s good at putting numbers up against bad teams and against good teams when the game is over. He has too many limitations that will keep him from being an elite qb. Can u imagine what 42 year old Brady would do with the talent on this offense. Do Brady, Brees, Rogers, Mahones or any qb have more talent on offense than Dak does?

As I mentioned in the game thread:

Dak has 6 games with a 100 passer rating this year. The opponents:

NYG, NYG, Wash, Philly, Detroit, Minn.

Combined record (doubling up for NYG): 22-44-1.

1 team with a winning record (Minnesota).

In fairness, we're going to end the year playing maybe 5 games against teams 500 or above.

But I'm not sure that really helps his case.

I mean I like that he's improving his passing, but he can't completely avoid running now. If Baltimore, Seattle, KC, Bills etc had JG as coach I think they'd be as bad as us.

I believe this. Our staff seems to do that to a lot of players. Do we draft DBs who can't turn and look, or do we coach it? It's hard to imagine there are THAT many DBs in college who never turn and look
