The Dak stunk it up thread **merged**

Aren't you always telling us that wins are "team stats"? And why does a throw away 4th round QB that makes 1/20 of Wentz salary...have better individual numbers that him?

No, I am using the argument YOU FOLKS make to tear down another QB.

So, again, if Wentz sucks due to the very stats you folks have used, what doe that make Dak? And Dak's draft round doesn't matter anymore, and he's on the final year of his deal. Playing worse than Wentz, hasn't gotten to a Super Bowl like Goff....

So, what is Dak is Wentz sucks?

Good. Since it is okay to use team records...what is Dak's record vs. Wentz? And Wentz was taken No. 2 overall in the 2016 draft...It is absolutely pathetic that people like YOU compare him to a 4th round pick that wasn't even promised a roster spot his rookie season. All that to try to make Wentz look better (despite the fact that Dak is actually the better QB).

I don't know what to think about Dak. He's putting up some big numbers this year and at times he looks great, but he's been extremely disappointing against good teams and has done nothing with the game on the line.

That didn't just use team records, it also has their raw statistics. Again, this is an argument constantly used on this board to prop up Dak and tear down Wentz.

I am using YOUR OWN ARGUMENTS against you. Again, where he was taken simply doesn't matter - that's your cop out to admitting he's not living up to the expectations your side set for him.

No pocket awareness lead to sacks and fumbles, our QB can be a turnover machine at times. Best attribute is running mobility but wont take off and gain those yards to move the chains. Why are they attempting to try and make Prescott into Joe Montana? We need a tier 1 QB or were not going anywhere in the future.

The phrase you're looking for is "Coach Killer"

Jameis Winston redux.

Dak got pressured this game, but it was absolutely nowhere the likes of games where McDermott and guys like Haslett basically could zone blitz the hell out of this offense and have free runners all day back when Garrett was ACTUALLY CALLING PLAYS and didn’t have Romo in game-planning meetings.

This Dak has a running game that accompanies all-pro linemen that are the best in the business in pass blocking, including the blitz. Even in this game, very rarely did we see clear paths to our QBs. Their linemen would beat their men around the edge, but it wasn’t like they had straight lines.

The Bills struggle against the run and an elite QB with RPOs would have constantly exploited that.

We are a big play offense that takes advantage of the sideline, because of the running game. We get favorable matchups for our WRs a lot. Our comeback sideline routes attest to this, because the CBs don’t want to get beat over the top with no safety help. That’s why Dak and this offense lead the league in big plays and at one point third down conversions. Our pass blocking gives the QB enough time to exploit this advantage,

Most QBs in the NFL should be able to take advantage of that.

The problem is our red-zone offense. QBs have you be able to make better decisions including when to run the ball. It’s almost like we completely ignore Zeke as a runner when we get down within the 20s, though we have a 90 million dollar RB. We even did this against Detroit, let alone the Bills who are not a great run defense team.

I don’t know if it’s the lack of RPOs or what. But based on what I’ve seen, Dak has considerable control to change the plays.

Like him
Love him
Hate him
Or meh about him

No matter how you feel about him, he stunk it up out there today.

Did he?

91.8 QB Rating
32 completions
355 yards passing
2 TDs
65.31% Completion Rate
Sacked 4 times.
He had a wow run going for a 1st down late.

The Cowboys built this offense around running the ball and they have not been having much success running the ball.

Zeke tied a season low for rushing attempts.

Dak had the 3rd most passing attempts in a game for his career at 49.

As of December 1st, Dallas is second, only to the Ravens, in third down conversion percentage. Our pass blocking, contrary to all the Dak homerism, is elite as far as the rest of the league. We throw it way more than the Ravens.

With Lamar it’s a completely different beast, because of how he runs and can throw the ball with a flick of the wrist, meaning his ability to react in those situations is completely unique. Teams that play Ravens pretty much have to dedicate a spy to Lamar.

Garbage stats on the last TD drive where the Bills were ceding everything in the middle and burning time off the clock. You also forgot the two fumbles because of holding the ball too long, the garbage INT on the screen and the other bail out flag on the second INT. Our defense held on the first INT as well.

His rating was in the 70s before that garbage time drive.

Nice try. People using Dak's raw statistics for yesterdays game are showing their obvious bias. Aren't you the all-22 man around here?

If anybody claims this is Dak’s worst game, they are homers beyond reason and delusional in their worship. The six game suspension of Zeke and the final game of the season against the Eagles, he was trash and way worse than whatever we’ve seen this year. Prior to Cooper coming here he was awful. Even after Cooper played, there were games Dak looked like a turn, including against the TB Buccaneers, where we were bailed out by defensive TOs in scoring position. The Colts game we couldn’t even score a single point.

if anything, this year we’ve had much more stability and talent as a team than any year, outside Dak’s first year.
