Tenn -- Will not draft QB
Cleveland -- Might draft a QB
San Diego -- Will not draft QB
SF -- Might draft a QB
Miami -- Will not draft QB
Jacksonville -- Will not draft QB
Baltimore -- Will not draft a QB

If we're going to get Paxton Lynch, the only team(s) we're going against will be Cleveland and San Fran. We will have to root for Cleveland and SF next week, who play Steelers and Rams respectively. Will be tough.

But winning next week can really jeopardize our chances of getting potentially the best QB in the draft.

If our target is Lynch, may as well trade down. He is not top 4 good.

We have a lot of holes - best impact player available that high.

Tenn -- Will not draft QB
Cleveland -- Might draft a QB
San Diego -- Will not draft QB
SF -- Might draft a QB
Miami -- Will not draft QB

Though early, this is also prime position to draft Jaylon Smith.

If any QB gets taken before our pick it will be Lynch.

Agree but would love to have Lynch also. If we could get Smith in the 1st and Wentz in the 2nd, I would call it a good draft. Wentz though if perform good at Sr Bowl and his pro day might sneak into the 1st Rd.

Hearing more and more he will be the first QB selected.

Coming from a smaller school, he would benefit from sitting behind Romo ala Rodgers behind Favre.

Tenn could be open to a trade down
Browns certainly have to consider taking a QB
Iam betting SF takes a QB

I'd like to draft a qb, the right one, they shouldn't force it.

There are a million holes on this roster, I'm fine with any position. O-line would have to be a special guy at #1, because 4/5 of the line is set. That's the only position that would give me pause in 1st round.

I agree. Will McClay has been really good in the first round so far. I think it's really easy to forget that OL can bust in the 1st round just like any other position, but he's killed it. I'll trust nearly any move they make. I also won't be upset if it feels like they "reach" for someone because they've shown they can put together a solid board. Just because the media and "analysts" think someone isn't a top 10 prospect doesn't mean that they aren't. I trust Will McClay's scouting acumen.

When you have the kind of proven track record the Cowboys and the great Will McClay have had over the years, it's hard not to feel this way.

I hope at least one of the QBS are on the board and the Cowboys phones are getting blown up with trade up offers.

I think your numbers are way off for opponents' winning %. Not sure where you got those numbers but the numbers I saw, we have a .529 strength of schedule and San Diego has .523. But if Denver wins tonight, that might put us even with San Diego.
