..no way, man. 49ers will be there, so will Sea. Viks are no pushover.

I'm getting the early 90's feel of 49ers/Dallas championship. All over again.

Lets see how the rookie does against Tampa. Big test for him. He looked more than adequate against the Dolphins.

Yeah, it would be nice if the 49ers did not make the playoffs. Hoping Seattle can overtake them. Because I think Garoppolo comes back in time for the playoffs. But that rookie QB did not look like a 7th round pick playing the Dolphins.

Not worried about the Vikings. Prime time Kurt Cousins chokes more than Linda Lovelace.

Too many with so little faith. Nobody can beat this Cowboys team when this team shows up to play.

This Cowboys Offense is tied with Buffalo with the 3rd highest points/game average (27.8). The Chiefs lead (29.2) with the Eagles in second (28.2) and the Cowboys & Bills tied for third just below them. That's because the Cowboys were without Dak for 5 games where they averaged around 17 points/game which drastically has affected their overall points/game average. Since Dak has been back during Game 7 vs the Lions, the Cowboys have had the league's highest scoring Offense by far.

The Cowboys Defense is in 3rd place overall in points given up per game average (17.2). Only the 49ers (15.8) and the Broncos (17.0) are better. Not bad for a Defense that has had some of our key starters either playing injured, lost for the season and having to wait until the halfway mark at least to see some youth come off of injured reserve and finally start getting some game experience this late in the season.

As one can see, the Cowboys have the 3rd best scoring Offense and the 3rd best scoring Defense. That's not including one of the best punters in the league, one of the best kickers as well and a pretty good kick and punt returner. Overall, the Cowboys have one of the top 3 best overall statistical teams in the NFL. When all 3 phases of this team show up to play, no one can beat these Cowboys.
AC your totally overlooking the teams the cowboys have played.
This season is probably the easiest schedule ever for the nfce teams.
The AFC div they play turned out to be the weakest in the AFC houston lol jags, colts, and tenn is winning the div, but even they are not
as good as they were even 2 years ago.
Then they got the NFC North which is I think the weakest div this season, even thought the south has less wins, I think those teams
are just better than the north teams.
GB having thier worst year in I dont know how long, and they still beat dallas?
minn isnt that good, but they are 10-2 lol. Dallas beat them bad

NFC is weird this year, so you need to look beneath the stupid stats, and # of wins.

No doubt dallas has a good team, and they and the other leaders are all contenders, but how it shakes out is really unpredictable
this season.

Mentioning Superbowl at this stage  We've been regular season champions before only to fizzle out in the Playoffs. I'll gain some confidence if we can actually beat the Eagles.

This is dumb.

If we continue to improve( O line gets even stronger with Tyron coming back?, Our Receiver group adds a deep threat in Washington, etc. etc.) we have a GOOD chance to win in the playoffs, but to say the Whiners are not a threat is DUMB!
There have been plenty of Super Bowl Champs with a bus driver QB and a really good D. I hate the Whiners and wish they were not a factor, but that is not reality.
A rookie QB has never been to a Super Bowl, much less won one. Much less a guy who was one pick away from going undrafted. That's why I didn't realistically think we would win it all in 2016.

Is there a scenerio where we could face them in the NFC championship game, or would it be the divisional round only? (Assuming we actually win a playoff game, which I'm guarding my heart, and not expecting).

The rest of the nfc is along for the ride. Daniel Jones, Geno Smith, the Bucs are nothing, KIrk Cousins enjoys losing to us, rookie qb in SF, etc.

It’s Dallas or the Eagles.

Get your expectations up.

SF is the best team out there in the NFC. Rookie QB or not.

Yeah. Unless the rookie completely craps the bed and loses games for them, they're in the mix. I think people are discounting them due to the last overall pick in the draft playing QB.

Jimmy G had 150 yards 0 TD's and a pick against us in the playoffs and they beat us pretty easily.

Yeah, but despite his best efforts, he wasn't bad enough to lose the game. There are QBs than can.

Thats about as bad a game as you can possibly have. He did NOTHING and even threw a pick.

I'll get my expectations up when the Cowboys reach the NFC championship game. Until then, it's just hope. It's been so long that I need to see it to believe it.
Seems like this happens every year when we're in position for the playoffs.
I'm sure if we pulled threads from last year and 2016, posters were singing the same tune.
I'm with you.
When we get to the NFC Championship Game, then I'll get more excited.
Right now, my confidence isn't very high on Dak, Kellen Moore or McCarthy.
But I'm hoping they prove me wrong.
