I'm looking forward to Spider-Man more, to be honest. I have never cared for Batman nor any of the other DC heroes.

The reason they (Sony) cranked out a re-boot so quickly was to keep the rights to the character.

If not, the rights would have gone back to Marvel Studios. We would have some quality Spider-Man films from Marvel Studios and Spidey would have been in The Avengers.
