The Dark Tower Movies/TV Series Confirmed

May be old news since the article is dated from November, but I know a lot of you, like me, are fans of the series.

Ron Howard is signed up to the first movie and the first season of the TV series.

I hope they aren't biting off more than they can chew here, I'd settle for just a well done movie series.

This is great! I don't know how I feel about the whole movie/TV thing they have planned, but at least they've got something going. I'm very much looking forward to seeing who they're casting for The Three and Roland.

Ah, great. He wasn't my pet cat for the role (that would've been Dr. Gregory House), but Bardem was an inspired choice (if he can make people forget about Anton Chigurh, anyway).

Anybody who watches many movies knows that Bardem is a ****** actor, and Chigurh was not close to his best performance. Watch Biutiful if you can handle foreign language film.

Yup. If Howard can get Joseph Gordon-Levitt to play Eddie Dean and Cuthbert, I'd be even happier.

Ive been reading the series, I'm reading through Wolves of Calla now.

It's a weird series, interesting but at times very boring. Seems like theres one good event/fight per book, and a lot of talking inbetween.
