Just watched it and took some notes. Some excellent questions were FINALLY asked of Garrett. And I mean a couple of ballsy questions. I commend the people for asking them. I will be posting them here.

As they say, stand by.

I am sorry I cannot give credit to the appropriate reporters, but I didnt get their names...They should be commended however. Finally some great questions..a couple of real doozies.

Q: You said in hindsight you should've ran the ball more. Why is this something you cant determine during the game and it is determined the day after.
A: coach speak

Q: Why give Tony the option at all of changing the play in that situation?
A: Its part of the play (longer answer but thats the focal point of his answer)

Q: Since you've had the headset on, how often are you telling Tony what to do and what not to do?
A: I dont want to get into that and any specifics.

Q: What makes you think Demarcus Ware can be effective anymore?
A: He's been a great football player for a long time. (more, but thats the idea)

Q: hatcher and Ware seem to both be off the field at the same time, in light of the D-line situation, is this good?
A: bunch of coach speak

Q: Why have you been able to run the ball better recently
A: long answer but the first words were "we added a FB

Q: Do you feel that you unfairly singled out Tony for changing to the run play when its you that gave him the power to do that?
A: Didnt get his answer...he may have blown this one off or used coach speak.

Q: Demarco Murray was clearly frustrated and rightfully so as a disservice was done to him by not letting him run more. What did you communicate with him?
A: we're tryin to win the football game

Q: What gives you any confidence as a coach in this football team especially after the last 2 weeks?
A: coach speak. great leaders, believe in them, talented. blah blah.

Q: Fans right now are not comfortable with where this team is. What message would you have for the fans?
A: I want them to understand we feel good about this football team. Looking over these 14 games we've done some very good things. We need to continue that and clean up some other things and get ready for those Washington Commanders. Come in here on Wednesday and have a good Wednesday.,

I did notice that once or twice he said...."I could've done a better job". But, right after those words he included
"our staff couldve done a better job and Tony couldve done a better job".

All in all, some good questions by reporters. I didnt have time to write them all down. But I have been critical of their approach in the past and, to be fair, they were excellent today.

Don't summarize if what you don't like to hear is just called "coach speak"

Wow...

That is hands down the best Q&A session I have seen since early Parcells. They really gave him the business and, just like his coaching on the field, he had no answers.

Listened on the way home... nothing to report here. Garrett did not reveal a single shred of info, as he is the master of doing.

I will admit it's a start for the media but I wish they would really man up and quit letting him and Jerry off the hook.

How you doing guys?

his blather never even hints at the epic meltdown that occurred nor his role in it...

Very impressed with the questions today. I especially liked the one about.....you say in hindsight you shoulda run the ball more...why is this something that you couldnt determine during the game?

THAT is where Garrett fails miserably.

It's telling that he can't explain why he didn't figure out during the game that he should have been running more.

I do think he was much more uncomfortable than he usually is. But yes, overall you are correct.

so basically he said nothing

Lol! No, basically, the OP transcribed nothing. We'd have to listen to the actual answers to hear what Garrett said.
That's not a specific knock, OP, but 'more coach speak' is not a particularly helpful paraphrasing of whatever he actually said. It's like you saying 'more stupid garbage from Garrett' and then us concluding in this thread that the head coach only said stupid garbage in the press conference. His actual replies are pretty important to a transcription thread. :)
