The defense gets better as the game goes on

They start out with no pass rush whatsoever, but the the guys in the trenches seem to make more and more plays as the game progresses. It seems like when they do step up it's later in the game. Does anyone else have this same impression? Turnovers and bend but don't break. I'll take it.

It looks like an improved version of the 2014 defense to me. There is more talent on the DL, the pass defense is better.

It's at least average and is starting to look significantly better than that.

It's backwards, but our pass coverage is helping the pass rush. Typically it's the other way around, but the cornerbacks are THAT good.... Claiborne, Carr, Brown, & Jones have all been above average to excellent in coverage.

And Barry Church has turned into a playmaker.

Between the first drive of the game and the one at the end of the first half the offense did little to help the defense.

The defense did their "thing" in the 1st half with little help from the offense.

and they did it despite the time of possession being perfectly even,,,, the Packers had the ball 20 seconds longer.

Good point. It's a testament to how well the secondary is playing. I feel bad for them when they cover for 10 seconds then give up a completion. You can't cover forever.
