In 2 games the opposing teams has attempted 61 passes without being intercepted by the Cowboys defense. At this rate the offense can't have a bad game. The defense is not shortening the field for the offense as of yet. I know it is early in the season. Just information that caught my attention.

I've noticed a number of other 2-0 teams have 0 INTs too(albeit supposedly better D's than our's).

It's only wk2-relax.

Picks seem to come in streaks.

The chances are pretty good that the defense gets at least one int this Sunday.

It's very early.

The Browns only had 117 passing yards the first week. I'll take that any day over 2 picks and 200 yards.

McNabb doesn't throw many picks.

We have a good secondary. It won't be long before we get our share.

I think it's interesting though.

Wade mentioned that more ints come from zones. Yet, most of us want to see a man-to-man with our CBs.

With Newman getting back in the lineup I think they'll increase their INT totals along with Pacman becoming more acclimated to playing...

Several guys have come close to picking off passes. Pacman has had his chances. Against Philly a few of McNabb's low throws were almost snared by Cowboys players. We definitely need more turnovers from our defense. Hopefully, it will come.

In the 90's dynasty years if the internet existed as it does today, there is no way I would have gotten to enjoy it as much as I did.

I am so glad I got to enjoy those years with no negative nancys.

Yeah but it wasnt necessarily great coverage that caused that. They dropped alot of passes when guys were wide open

McNabb doesn't throw many picks.

he does avoid ints pretty good

I hope so

I think this is well regarded as fact. The problem however is we 1) arnt confusing anyone right now 2) we arnt getting enough pressure to force bad throws 3) nobody is playing the ball

I agree with this, but it's so much better reading other people's perspectives. You take the good with the bad. In the 90s, I would get so mad about the haterism against the Cowboys (yes, I'm one of those conspiracy theorists), but now I have someplace to go and vent and share my feelings with other Cowboys fans whether they agree with me or not. Having the Internet is definitely better.

Imagine what the board would be like after that MNF game when we lost 31-7 at Philly in 92.:laugh2:

Let me put it this way: we won't be calling them Terence's Thieves.

Yep, part of this is that we've played two pretty good teams. I expect all our stats to catch up during that Bengals-Cards-Rams-Bucs streak.

Wait. I thought is was all Zimmer's fault that we did not get INT's.

You mean the '93 team when we were ranked #15? We were pretty good that year. Maybe not great, but we excelled starting from the Dec stretch run.

That '94 team was ranked #1 overall, too bad in ended in SF.
