These guys have been gettin ripped through the air for so long now they have the same expectation the fans do when another team goes into passing mode. Seeing Carter and Heath stand there as Myers ran in confirmed for me what I already suspected. This wasn't a bonehead play on Carters part. Maybe for the undrafted rookie Heath it was but Carters body language looked like someone who was defeated again. I know the media and many fans will call this an example of bad coaching or poor play but I think this has been happening to this defense so long some of these guys are crushed when it happens and expecting it.

I also think holding on for the win could change that type of thinking.
