What we saw yesterday has been a problem for years. Going all the way back to that rams playoff game. Misdirection offenses kill Quinn.

Our defense was completely undisciplined in the first half. Selling out to rush a passer that only threw the ball 21 times in the game. The cardinals took advantage of it…it was like a copyright of what the eagles did to us last year.

The two teams who were going to have to get through if we want to get to a SB run similar offenses (eagles and 49ers).

Is it Quinn or the players free lancing, not reading their keys and getting washed out of the play? I'm pretty sure Quinn's scheme defends the run. They were good against the run last year.

The goal for the Cowboys should be to take a lead quickly and just build on that. Teams that have to come from behind against Dallas are going to face that pass rush. But teams that get ahead of Dallas can mix things up and that is a problem because Dallas likes to be very aggressive on defense.

The defense was built to play with a lead. Look at the Giants and Jets rushing stats. It's really that simple.

You can blame Quinn for not having them mentally prepared. But he had nothing to do with the lazy moping around effort the players displayed and specifically the linebackers Kearse, LVE, Clarke. Might be the worst linebacker game I have ever seen. And we watched Jaylo Smith for years here.

At any given time there could be 5-6 undersized players on the defensive field. Have to be fast smart and punch above their weight class.

Sb run? Lmbao!!

This Dallas defense is not dominant, it simply preys on turnovers and sacks. If this Dee doesn't get sacks and TOs, they're mediocre-ish. So, like the Cards, if ANY offense comes in with a plan to stay committed to the run, and relies on a quicker passing game, this defense won't be able to ever take over...because they're not stout. They will give up yards and first downs.

So, some games, this defense is going to look amazing, when the turnovers and sacks flourish. Other games when the opposing offense takes care of the ball and gets the ball out quickly, neutralizing this defense's strenths, well, they'll be average, and may easily struggle...as they did against the hapless Cardinals using their rooking BACKUP QB. The Cowboys defense (yes, you too, Quinn), they got exposed by a rookie BACKUP QB. Yikes! Nothing more humbling than that.

The defense got full of themselves.
Abandoned their run responsibilities in an attempt to get to the quarterback.
They'll be firing on all cylinders next week. If you wanna worry, worry about the offense.
