When you saw this thread title pop up, you no doubt groaned, dying a little bit inside. And for that I don't blame you. But these are real issues people. And real issues necessitate real discussion on REAL internet forums, by people who are - similarly - real.
And so my aim, when beginning this thread, was to cut right to the core of these matters, without all the emotion and obfuscation of the mundane threads that we have had to endure, attempting to canvas these topics. Because that's where we're really going wrong - as a real forum discussing these real problems with real people. It isn't about reality, or rehashing the past, but it's about how we move forward from here, in a very REAL manner. Realists, apologists, middle of the roaders, extreme idiotic homers, well all need unity on these topics - really.
So where do we go from here? The answer is simple. We go forward, of necessity... because noone knows how to build time machines. Of course we've all heard the theories, but so far no success. I had someone tell me the other day that if we really understood the physics of it all, we could shake a beer and turn it into orange juice. Personally, I think he's a lunatic. But what is a lunatic - again, really? Daniel Snyder? Chris Carter? Marshall Faulk? I would say no, I'm pretty sure that those men simply suffer from debillitating learning disabilities.
Obviously these are all things we have to keep in mind, as we move forward, discussing all these intensely important topics. The draftniks will be in full throat, soon. Do we draft Mendenhall, or Felix Jones? Turns out I wanted Chris Johnson all along. You don't have any idea whether I'm telling the truth or not. Why? Because researching my post history on the matter is tedious, and advanced search is a dirty *****. Do you want chlamydia? I thought not. So just leave it alone and trust me when I tell you, I had the RB class of 2008 ranked 1. Johnson, 2. Ray Rice, 3. Felix / Mendenhall. Dmac wasn't even on my radar, obviously.
Which brings me to Mike Mayock. Where are his lips? Will we ever find out? Does anyone else just want to punch that black guy who they bring in on day 2 of the draft? I don't know his name, I think he also does games on CBS. I call him "Smiley". He's an *******.
Anyhow I think it's about time to wrap this up. We've made alot of progress today, and I hope this thread helped you get over your initial apprehension of opening yet another Roy/Wade thread. It needs to be talked about. It needs to be resolved. There are angles to these topics out there that have not been discussed yet. Find them Zoners. Bring them to us. Feed the machine. Fulfill your destiny.
Bonus points for telling me how much I suck, this thread sucks, my mother sucks, etc. Or how stupid all of this is. I want to know about it.
