How much can Dez help us win and how.

First of all, who will be at QB. And what will the reaction be win or lose if Dez is playing against the Giants.
He will make an impact somehow. We know in the receiving game. As he will draw attention and most likely double coverage. If not at first, if our QB can get some completions to him. Then that opens up TWill and Witten and Beasley.
Should also open up the running game more. As well as some screen passes.

So....
If Weeden starts and Dez is back, we beat the Giants. And it will be all ok. Does Weeden get any credit.
If Cassell starts and Dez is back, we beat the Giants, then Cassell should have been the starter all along chants will run amuck.

Though it was Dez being the catalyst of it all.

Not saying that will be the case, but most likely. Though the key to beating the Giants is our D making a difference...a true difference. not this play well early then fade in the 2nd half crap.
Gregory will be back. so with Hardy, Gregory, DLaw, roMac, and Lee. All will be back, so Eli should be sacked and hit and made to have happy feet causing turnovers. That will be how we win, creating short fields for the offense. Preventing NY from scoring. We cannot rely on the offense just because Dez will be back.
giants seem to hit a stride and are playing very well on both sides of the ball right now.

Also, hopefully Dez and Gregory will be back. his we will need to wait and see and hope for the best.

I'll wait-and-see if Weeden can consistently pass the ball for 10/15-yard completions (or longer) to Bryant first before weighing how much credit should go to anyone.

Just win, I don't care who gets the credit. If we lose, I don't care who is blamed. It's a team effort. All should get credit/blame.

Having a guy who demands double teams, and who can beat them, is huge. I'm sure Williams and the running game will appreciate it, if nothing else. Beasley on third downs, probably, too. You don't add one of the biggest game changers in the league at a position to a struggling offensive team and not get a lift.

Unless teams overreact to his return, I do not see him being nearly as important as Romo returning. They can just double him and take their chances with the same receivers that are not getting the ball right now.

It frees up Witten and Beasley and the running game.

Dez being back would be huge. There was even some open receivers against New England and Weeden didn't get him the ball.

Still have the same QB issues and the OL has to block better. It just sounds better thinking that Bryant is going to equalize things. It will help, but to expect it to be huge, not certain about that, especially if he is not 100%.

Cassel will at least make teams respect him more because he'll at least throw the ball down field and isn't gonna just check down all the time. The line will be better by just not having to block those extra two or three guys.

How is it that everyone is just so certain that Cassel will do what Weeden doesn't?

See the Arizona game last year. Weeden + Dez + Murray and we still couldn't do anything.

if its weeden they lose last year they had murray and dez against the cards and they still lost. weeden is a loser the bottom line if u watched the end of the game last week at pats and saw his face you would see the deer in the headlight look and the defeated look.

Dez will give us instant credibility as an offensive threat. The other receivers will benefit from Dez being on the field, the QB just has to find the open guy.

Because we've seen it before. We've seen Cassel at least be able to run an offense and actually look across the field and do all the things you would expect an NFL quarterback to be able to do.

I wish you wouldn't insult Bambi's species like that. Weeden's expression is worse.
