... was Austin or Pollard rotating back to the backfield behind Dak pre-snap. (Sorry if already posted.)

I know it wasn't the first time we've done that, but it was the first time it was a regular part of the arsenal throughout a game.

I'm going to presume to give credit to the Boy Wonder OC on that one. Gives defense four things to defend--Zeke run, Dak run, Dak pass, or Austin/Pollard run. It didn't go for much this time, but I could easily see that Dak toss back to Austin (this time, maybe Pollard next time) being a home run.

It was really just effort that was the difference. Nothing more, nothing less.

It was one of the best all around games they have played this year if not in several. Good fundamental football - a balls to the walls butt kicking. Good job Cowboys!!

I'm hard-pressed to say they weren't trying the last 3 weeks, but I think they did get emotionally defeated in those games, largely because the interior D-line wasn't getting it done, and chunk plays were too easy.

But having said that, don't misread what I'm saying.

The offensive "wrinkle" was what I said... it's a scheme thing... and the defensive wrinkle wasn't so much a wrinkle as it was having Woods play really well.

One or two wrinkles I saw. Otherwise, just better execution of the plays and not missing 19 tackles on defense. Ball game.

Couldn't agree more. Best use of weapons and best balanced game plan from Moore.

There's a lot to be said about the effects of the meat grinder schedule they go through every year around Thanksgiving.
